    Hi nanna

    Hope your well.

And how annoying........., they seems to get themselves out of it if they were not governed by the FSA etc, but do not worry nanna, this can I'm sure go the "insurer/underwriter" direction instead as another avenue to take if this is the case.

The FOS have suggested this direction for the ones in the same position, for example if they were not regulated but the insurer/underwriter themselves would have been.
The FOS are trying to make these responsible as well, as they would also be liable, for instance to have approved this from ths start sort of thing.

What I would do then in your case first, is contact the FOS as a general query, on the free phone number and explain your problems here, and see if they mention anything about the underwriter/insurer, if they don't then bring this up yourself, they should I imagine suggest it anyway.

Its another avenue to take if all else fails.

Hope this helps nanna, or maybe amersall may have some advice on where to go from here otherwise for you.;)XXXXXXXXXXX
