Dad still at the unit and is losing his mobility, well he cannot stand or walk now without help, but again it could be the meds, they just can't seem to get it right, although they are trying, with him being on so many, and his COPD (chest condition) is getting worse as well, but they put it down that its going through the worse stages.

They are doing their best and he is so fragile now, but he does seem to sort of know what is going on I think and of course he is getting so frustrated and apologising all the time, bless him.

No there is nothing wrong with my son lol, not to worry he is fine.
He is still working as an Employment Advisor/Mentor - yesterday he attended an interview for a position as a Careers Adviser (slightly better pay), so now just waiting to hear, however, they only require one and he overheard that someone who already works there in the Careers office as a temp was having an interview too, so he thinks that is the snag, but never mind hey, at least he still has that current job.;)XXX
 See what i mean di:( i was posting on here on that dayand didnt see this reply :eek: sorry to hear about your dad xx i wish him well x

    acc no xxxx
    ins no xxxxx

    Dear sir /madam

I beleive that the insurance policy "Exra care advantage" has been missold to me.

    1. No explaination at time of purchase.
2.Only " we reccomend on paperwork.

I would request premiums plus interest to be refunded to date within 14 days.

If not i will have no alternative but to contact the F.O.S

    yours
Hi nanna, have you sent this letter off yet? if you have that is ok,if not, were you entitled to pay from work if you were on sick, and have you got life insurance, as your husband worked you would still pay catalogue as you were not reliant on your wage. And if you died the debt would be paid

    Hi amersal :j
have sent this off...oooops.... they should have got it monday.no life cover at the moment only death cover. we are allowed 3 days of sick with pay and no more.

I have made them a payment offer and they have refused.4 months ago i rang them as things were really bad here.Spoke to there rep (think she was an android) to go on a payment plan ended up agreeing to more than i could afford ,paid it for 3 months.Hubby then came out of work(still is)
Rang their centre and spoke to a nice chap who said he thought my offer would be ok.I sent the payment with a covering letter and recieved back a refusal yesterday as it does not meet their minimun payment critieria. do you know if they have to accept or not ? i cannot send what i have not got.

    any thoughts xxx

Hi nanna, what a bloody cheek. Give fos a quick ring, explain what they have said to you and put a complaint in (the fos will do this over the phone and will contact them for you) tell them you dont think that it is acceptable they want you to pay more than you can afford, And you believe they are treating you unfairly.tell them you have a complaint in for the mis sell of ppi as you WERE NOT AWARE (were you?) that you had it, you came across this site and realised you had it, you put a claim in on the insurance To have it rejected.

Nanna, reasons for the mis sell of this ppi
    1) you were not made aware you did not have to take it
    2) did not recieve a policy document to look at
    3) it was not explained to you what you were covered for (if anything)
found out from media about mis sell of ppi , that prompted you to look into this further

realised that the extra payment on your catalogue statement was in fact ppi
only found out who the insurers were after looking at terms and conditions on littlewoods website and telephoning littlewoods to make a claim, that was rejected
