playing devils advocate here, it does stand to reason that if they were in the country illegally they may not want to stand up in court as witnesses. Though that is merely one of what could be several reasons.

Im not racist, but I do have beef with illegals and this whole Jihad b*llocks, just you try telling me that 2 caucasian men in the same situation would have denied all knowledge.... I've even been is such a situation with a hit and run driver, two guys followed me to be my witnesses while I chased down and cornered the offending uninsured driver.

These two were standing outside their bloody house!!

If i'd been Asian versus that women they'd have been climbing over eachother to give me their details..... Try denying that! If anything THEY are the racist one's!

If I witnessed an accident i'd stop to give my details no matter the color of their skin or religious beliefs.

Think this is a bit of a moot point, the OP has already stated he never checked his blindspot before moving the vehicle. Instead of a dozy bint allegedly overtaking static traffic, this could have been a cyclist or motorcyclist carrying out a perfectly legal maneouvre or perhaps even an emergency vehicle on a shout!?!

A cyclist wouldn't have been traveling at 25-30mpg... I'd have seen them when I checked my drivers side mirror. But they would not have overtaken a car that's indicating right.

Some chav idiot on a moped might have overtaken where she did, but i'd hear a moped a mile away.

A motorcyclist would not have overtaken due to the potential oncoming white van and my indicator flashing.

Finally.... Emergency vehicles would have the siren going in such compacted traffic....

So the moot point is infact yours.

Fortunately after constant suggestions to the contrary via posts here, the OP has now remembered he checked his mirror AND indicated before pulling into the path of the overtaker. Must have a massive blind spot!
