Do a Google Earth image of the junction? That might help explain what happened.

The google earth image is no good, too much shadow from the buildings.
Camera is for incase some idiot pulls a stunt like this, i've witnessed a lot of bad driving over the last 6 months and I decided that for the sake of £15 a cheap video camera could save me a lot of money.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

The OP's description of what happened certainly wouldn't prove the other driver was 100% to blame. I don't understand what actually happened.
Cameras are fine, but moving pictures can still only show so much and they could even work against you.0
