I would say that this should not include people who've worked for years and find themselves jobless suddenly - the degree of help available to them should increase substantially.

The same applies that not everyone on the dole ISN'T looking for a job, however there are some who just aren't interested, just as there are some who spend all their money on drugs (whether or not on the dole).
Before we know it, the government will introduce benefits via spending vouchers, where everything you buy will be limited to what the government allows you to buy. culminating in a black market - (reminiscent to the days you would sell your dinner tickets at school). Not only would that make life difficult for the "dole druggie's", but it will push the small "cant be bothered" groups into looking for work.
The way this government are gouging the benefits system, its not too far fetched to imagine them introducing a voucher scenario. Heck they might even demand receipts being produced on each signing on day for everything we purchase, just to keep tabs on what goes where.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
