Have you got a local mp office near you.
it wasnt the mp i seen it was a local councillor at the mp office.
phone up your local office and just ask can you see yourlocal councillor. tell them youve had no money for weeks.
I seen mine at the local festival on saturday and asked him about it he told me to goin monday. butbefore i went i phoned and he just said come down which i did.when gottherehe phoned them they have a differnt number than us. They told him what was holding my claim up it was with the compliance team. and they had 24 hours to sort it out. Within 10 mins of me leaving they phoned him back. They had till friday to have it finalised but was all done yesterday friday. so took them 2 days.So you need to get thenumber of google search for your locall office and go see them x

Can i ask why was it with the investigation team. I just got off the phone after a 40m in wait the lady said oh its awaiting award and then said ok i will put you on hold for a moment. several minutes later she came back and asked for my contact number, which i gave, i asked was there a problem and she said no and said something about my natiional insurance number being in use for my single claim and that she would pass it over to the tax office to be delt with and if they wanted any other info they would write!!! This is a bloody joke now.

Just spoke to a very nice manager there who seems to know what he was talking about, seemed very annoyed at the service I have been provided. Iv started keeping a diary of calls, whom I spoke to and info given. He said that I havent received fair service and has escalated this to the complaints team yet again. However he did say he was going to contact head office and go down a managers route of getting my application form updated however when he looked onto the system he said it was showing as payment issued which basically means its been processed and the system is creating a payment schedule for me and working out amounts and dates of payments, this cant be done manually so there is nothing he can do to speed it up but there are no more issues on the screen and I should hear some better news in the next few days. Going to call back Monday.

My advice - from the minute they receive that claim form, call back every other day, take every callers name, take everything they say with a pinch of salt and take control of the situation when you are being given misleading information. Apparently the manager who never called me back yesterday after promising to do so will be in big trouble for not doing so!

Telfordstar, Iv had similar myself but in all fairness I was told for 2 weeks it was awaiting award and every now and again a new error would appear. Phone them back to check what stage it is tommorrow or saturday. I think I was in the same queue as you and all my calls to them have been on the mobile, god knows how much this will cost!

What ican gather is if theres something holding your claim. On mine it was something to with my kids on it twice. so it willbe your national insurance number. but i phoned about 2 weeks agao and sombody saidmy kids was on the system twice but obvouisly it never got taken off. I dont think you get any answers off tax credits.there awaste of timex

This was a manager who said it was past the 'awaiting payment' stage he says its gone into payment. Trust me Iv had the 'awaiting payment' line for 2 weeks lol. But in any case I have his name and he knows this is going much further so we will see, he even raised a complaint on my behalf and advised me to continue my complaint about the service.
