My son was 8 before investigations were started to find out why he had difficulties .,. He was 11 when diagnosed with ASD. Perhaps we should all leave an 8 or 10 year gap inbetween children just in case they develop a problem. I have to stay at home to take care of him and now it looks like there will be even less money.
Off I go again, original impressions thoroughly confirmed.
While I agree in principle and hate both benefit scroungers and benefit bashers equally, I had to titter at the highlighted bit, kind of contradictory:rotfl::rotfl:
I'll ad my question while I'm here.
From my understanding DLA claimants will be subject to a medical assesment to replace the complex forms, (actual words heard on the news), in 2013 in an attempt to reduce the cost of this benefit by 10%.
Have I got the basics of this? and I wonder how much medical history will or rather will not be under consideration?I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

I could move to one of the 3 council estates & rent a cheaper house but again I choose to substidize my rent as I wouldn't subject my kids to that again.
Unfortunately, the LHA must be capped to avoid the excesses of greedy landlords - less face it if all of a sudden they cannot rent their overpriced homes due to this cap then the rental market prices will start to fall - they will take less money rather than nothing...
also again unfortunately, people have taken advantage of LHA and selected houses too big for needs and the amount spent on LHA is far too high for the country to continue with hence the cap
However if people (such as yourself) wish to subsidize to have a larger home or to live in "better" area then that is personal choice0 -

Your normal and doing the best you can for your kids, a bigger house costs more and Im sure if/when you can afford one you will move after weighing up the pennies and pounds to make sure that you can keep affording the important things that your kids need in life.0 -

If you want to judge the situation why dont you read the full history instead of becomeing someone who wants to massage the proffesional victims ego?
Most of us dont need to play the part of the victim but we have so much more disability in our lives.
With respect I have! I do not consider standing up against some of the vitriol that has been posted against this person as massaging anyones ego!
Maybe it is because I was taught if you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all! That makes me feel like I want to help to defend someone who has not been treated in this way!
You do have a MAJOR problem with this poster, as is obvious from the many times you have posted on one of the threads either started by or contributed on by BCS. If you cannot tolerate this persons lifestyle or choices, fine, I and I'm sure many others respect that, but to continously pull someone apart to prove some sort of point is making you come across as bitter at times.
Maybe it would be advisable that you conider putting BCS or anyone that you find intolerable on ignore, as presumably that is what that feature is intended for!?
I have nothing against you personally, I know little about your history, but it's very uncomfortable to witness anyone, no matter what their circumstance, being tracked down, pulled apart, and questioned!
Just saying

Why dont you just ignore me if you have such a problem with me?
You cant have read the full story and as such your views arnt subjective, if you had you would see where Im coming from.
Dont worry she will be along to thank her fan club soon.0 -

Just pointing out the irony, of why you can't ignore BCS if she irks you so.
I think you meant 'objective' too.All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0 -
Hi,
does anyone know what's happening with the childcare element? At the moment we have twins in nursery full time as we both work full time. My wages would be less than childcare costs. We pay about a third ourselves, however we are still better off with us both working. We brought home about 35K last year, however,my husband has been working some overtime which may take us over 40K next year. So I'm worried we won't get the childcare element now. I don't want to give up my job where I've been working for over 10 years (it wouldn't make sense to work for nothing or rather less than nothing)and my husband earns more than me, so it wouldn't make sense for him to be a SAHD.
Can anyone help?
Thanks0
