Stop eating... you know it's not essential!tinktinktinkerbell wrote: »it went on bills/food and travel costs
Saying bills and travel costs hides whether you should have saved it or not. e.g. travel to dole office £3 return if it's under 4 miles could have been saved. Bills being "mobile phone: £32, including voting for Britain's Got Talent" could have been saved.0 -

I wasn't aware you were given enough to budget for the unexpected. no i can't budget better as half the problem is things are being delayed in being paid CTC, HB, my O/H doesn't work as he is kept busy being my fulltime carer which he was advised to do by my consultant who advised it would be a good idea to get used to managing the kids and home for when i'm no longer around, which is expected to be sooner than later.......answer your question0 -

And does anyone really NEED all those ribs?0 -
The unexpected is one thing. The OP's unexpected is not getting her giro, so if she'd saved for the expected then that could have been used for her current unexpected. Therefore, in this case, this unexpected could have been budgeted for.annies_mum wrote: »I wasn't aware you were given enough to budget for the unexpected0 -
I can sympathize, but you shouldn't leave yourself reliant on a giro arriving on a certain date; even if you don't have much you can put a little aside.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.
