If you lived near me OP, I'd pop over with 4 packs of cheap noodles, couple of cans of beans, half a dozen eggs, loaf of bread and some spuds. That'd sort you out.0

Couldn't put it simpler myself. However I do respect genuine curcumstances where one can't work for medical reasons etc.

I have lived on porridge and rice and lentils before when really skint, not appetising but I always had some in stock when I was a doley.
