If I were getting my £65 JSA/week I'd only be spending what was "mine to spend", so that means after basic bills. It's summer too ... less money needed for heating.
What did you do with last fortnight's money?
but if i were getting it
id get food in
pay my bills/debts
pay to take my kids out /stuff etc
pay my extorinate electricty meter (its takes pound coins and seems to be set at approximatley £20 a week
then there would be very little leftReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -
It won't be at the sorting office; it'll be in the postie's flat in a pile on the floor along with the Stellas and crisps while he watches the World Cup.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

Nobody said it was easy, but if you're used to having that much (as opposed to overnight going from £25k/year down to £65) then it's doable. And I gather the OP's a regular on the rock-n-roll so should be in the habit of putting the coins in the tins each dole day.its not that easy when your only on 60 pound a week

Yeah, and as you have no food in, you might as well sell the fridge, and the cooker, and you can't afford to drink so you won't need both kidneys.0
