Nah. You get it on contact, don't pay, they cut you off after a few months then you just get a new contract in a different name. It's tradition.0 -
Thats NOT over dramatic, i've seen plagues of locusts eat less than my kids. If for some reason money doesn't go in the bank then we go without simple! a few weeks ago we had a giro come on a saturday morning, it wasn't cashable at our nominated PO we couldn't find out where to get it cashed, what a fab weekend that was. Unfortunatly if you are on benefits you are always at someones mercy, it goes with the terrorityWee_Willy_Harris wrote: »Let's not be too overdramatic, huh?0 -

Surely you don't live cheque to cheque. Half of your money will be for bills that arrive quarterly/yearly, so that needs to be set aside straight away... which would mean you'd have something to live on until the cheque arrives, maybe tomorrow.0

Ok if you must be paid by Giro, but I wouldn't trust the postman - mine here in Edinburgh is a stuttering, gibbering, english-as-a-foreign-language idiot.
He's too dumb to steal a giro, but he'd lose it alright.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.
