You only live once love, just sleep with a knife under your pillow so if he sneeks in your room in the middle of the night you can attack him lmao

Thanks everyone all your comments are welcome.

I like the idea of showing him the spare room as soon as he arrives.

I will be speaking to him either Wednesday or Thursday. I will make it very clear then, that he will be in the spare room and there will be no extras.

I do not drink so will still have my senses in tact. I also do not have alcohol in the house only because I don't drink anyway and I won't be buying it just for him to drink. I don't think we will have enough time to go out on Saturday night it depends on what time he finishes. He will stay at my place whether or night he gets to the finals and then we will go out on the Sunday. Friday he will be in the hotel anyway.

I will not be having a one night stand. I have never done that in my life and I can't see me starting that now.

I was going out with my ex for 3 years before we had sex and we had slept in the same bed many times and stayed in hotels during that time and nothing happend until I was 21 and ready.

I am more nervous about having to hold a conversation. I haven't had a social life in such a long time so this will feel weird. I find it much easier talking on the phone. I have also never had a visitor stay at my house other than my sister, so entertaining will be new to me.

My sister who lives in London and has meet him, will call me to check everything is ok. She won't be able to do anything from there but she could call my parents. I am also thinking about asking my other sister who lives about 30mins away to pop round and pretend to drop something off. I just know when I tell her everyone will know about it and that is what I was trying to avoid.

If I don't come back on here on Sunday night / Monday morning to say everything went ok can someone please call the police as I may have stabbed myself with the knife I hid under my pillow:rotfl:

if your going to do all this to "stay safe", then just meet him out in town for a late drink after his tournament ends and before he goes back to the hotel. Then meet Sunday as well for a day out.

or just go out Sunday and avoid the late Sat night thing. if you are nervous about the date, then having him in your space for all that time will make it worse. quick meet up Sat to say hello and then go out sunday for a nice lunch.

No way, he he coming up as he has something booked, your just a convienent/cheap doss house with maybe some extras thrown in.

if he wanted to see you, he would have arranged to come up ages ago.

My thoughts exactly, been there, fell for it, and was used look up some reasonable place for him to stay, and tell him you would be delighted to meet up maybe for a meal whilst hes there.

Older, wiser and sadder than I used to be. Best of luck Meg xxxxxx
