Still no news  Have been told to give it ANOTHER couple of days for the report to come through. Will keep phoning and checking on the poor dog.

It's making me want to swear too.

I took out an SSPCA affinity credit card with my bank last year. I didn't need it but took and use it to buy everything now so that the SSPCA benefit. If they haven't done someting positive here I'll scrap the card and tell them why

Contact your local Council & make a report to their Animal Welfare Officer / dog warden (depending on what your Council has) asking if he can pay them a visit, eg from what you say the dog doesn't appear to have been wearing a name tag or receiving proper veterinary attention - both may be covered under their "promoting responsible dog ownership" duties

Thankyou for caring about this poor dog - so many people just walk on by & leave them to suffer.

Really hoping for some good news about this little chap, it's been dragged out for far too long in my opinion. Thanks for the continuous updates Michelle :)

I have given them a call and they're going to get the inspector to give me a phone. Will let you know when she does.

I think you are doing the right thing by constantly asking for updates. Im sure the organisation does look at cases, but this way you can be more certain that they have. Hope its a good call.
