No phonecalls today. I'm going to give them a call first thing in the morning (I presume they'll be closed at this time) to see if they've been round to see the owner. If not then i'll be finding out why!!Every time life knocks me down, I just stay on the ground for a bit and look up at the sky for a while. Eventually I get up and have a cup of tea.0

I've just phoned and they said it usually takes a week for any result to come back, so she suggested I called back on Friday or Monday- i'll be calling on Friday!!!
She said someone would definately be attending as every report is investigated.
Keeping fingers crossed for poor doggy and will keep you all updated on the outcome.Every time life knocks me down, I just stay on the ground for a bit and look up at the sky for a while. Eventually I get up and have a cup of tea.0 -
!!!!!!, this poor dog could be dead within a week. Why can't they just get someone round, in any situation like this - WHY does it usually take a week? Surely a life is at risk here (any dog chained up in the sun all day is at serious risk) so why do they want to wait until Monday to do anything about it?"Your life is what your thoughts make it"

The poor, poor dog

Well done to you michele for helping him :T
I really hope the SSPCA get their act together quickly and help him0 -
Dont know how I missed this. That poor dog, I am so pleased he has you fighting his corner for him. I am so surprised that the vet although knowing has done nothing.
Dont get me on the SSPCA/RSPCA lot. I am afraid they somethimes need a bullet up their bums. You see the adverts where they say they put the animal forst, well I have yet to see this happen.
Good on you Michele, we need more people like you xxx.

A week seemed a bit long in my opinion aswell, but who am I to argue with their 'procedures'!!!
The past 2 days have been really hot and sunny and I didn't get a chance to drive by to see if he was ok- i actually feel quite bad for not checking on him. Thankfully today is quite overcast here so he doesn't have to contend with the heat, but it still doesn't stop his poor little legs from hurting
I really hope the SSPCA move their backsides and actually do something for the dog. My worry is that they'll go round there and not do anything to solve the problem. Be assured though, i'll be checking on him regularly to make sure he is being looked after or there will be more phonecalls from me.Every time life knocks me down, I just stay on the ground for a bit and look up at the sky for a while. Eventually I get up and have a cup of tea.0 -
