Which brand pushchair are you using? I am totally lost...

UPDATES,

I bought bugaboo cameleon at last. Points are:

It's light in weight--only 8kg. I had a emergent C-section so I need something light enough as after the operation I was not myself for quiet a while and quinny appeared to be hard to manage.

Its wheels are gel-made and very stable. i tried some one in mamaspapas and DH would not buy any of it and those in mother care are not stable enough in his eyes.

It has good online repution. we bought icandy at first and returned it as online reviews are not so good.

Anyway this one is the only one that both of us would accept. My son weighed 9.2pounds on birth and when he was 60 days old he was 6.95kg and 64cm long. I have been using this one for more than one month and it is brilliant. The carrycot is long enough for my fast-growing baby. The colour is nice as well and i can change the cloth in summer as if we get a new one.

Tried several pushchairs in mothercare yesterday, and I found quinny is the most controllable and lightest pushchair I have ever tried and the wheels are big as well, but it was a three-wheeled pushchair so I don't know whether it will be as good as a four-wheeled one. Another one impressed me is bugboo's cameron, but for me it's heavier and the price is almost twice of that of quinny. I want to know anyone having any experience with these two brands? ;) thanks in advance.

Do you catch buses? I quite often see people struggling with the Quinny Buzz getting off buses. Personally I like 3 wheelers, I have three children and the best buggy for me at the time (walking a lot, no car) was the original urban detour twin.

I had a maclaren (single, then twin techno) which was OK but broke eventually and was quite hard to steer. I had the original Graco travel system and it was huge and felt cheap and nasty so I wouldn't buy graco again.

I wouldn't get the Quinny, it seems to be overrated, imo. Same goes for bugaboo, the wheel setup reminds me of a shopping trolley, and people expect them to steer well?!

This time I've bought a jane slalom pro, although not the new one with the parent facing seat and all from ebay so it's cost less than £200 all told. it is tall, I don't know how tall you are but I felt I had to bend over a lot to push my maclaren.

Hi I had a quinny buzz as my first pushchair and I really loved it - you can get them in a 4 wheel version as well as a 3. I agree that it wouldn't be ideal if you have to catch buses though as you need 2 free hands to fold it down. I would have another in a flash I passed it onto my sister for her baby and got a more lightweight maclaren when my baby was 18 months old. Although the Quinnys are quite expensive they do have a very good second hand resale value on ebay so you can recoup a lot of the costs. I got mine online can't remember the site now but it was about 3/4 the price or mothercare. I will try and remember the site I got it from and repost when I do.

I have a quinny buzz and I love it! It is wider than some pushchairs but I've never struggled getting it through doors etc. I love the fact that your baby can face you so you can interact with them (my DS is nearly 2 and has only just started facing outwards and I find myself getting bored on long walks with noone to really talk to!) The shopping basket is an ok size and I really like the changing bag attachment cause it means I don't need to cart around another bag.
    Can't recommend it enough!

I have heard that the mothercare my3 and my4 are basically identical to the quinny. And the mothercare version has a slightly larger seat unit, I've often seen toddlers looking a bit squished up in the quinny seat unit. A friend of mine has the my4 and age loves it! And with online coupons etc I think she only paid a shade over £200... Having said that, I had a silver cross 3d when I had one child, with 2 it was impossibly heavy to hang onto a lively 27 month old and push with one hand. I now have a lovely out'n'about 360deg nipper which is fabulous. I'm a mean mummy who makes the older one walk everywhere (and we walk a lot) so I only have the single, but there is a double version as well.

I had a quinny for DS this was going back 3 years ago the problem I found with it was as the pavements were so badly cracked were we lived the front wheel always got caught in them so i sold it and got the Jane great pushchair light easy to control I loved it and no problems with cracks in pavements:T

I had a quinny buzz - liked it up to a point but would never buy one again. Main reasons -

The wheels are very difficult to pump up and it does not handle well unless they are fully inflated (the valves are rubbish, as soon as you take the pump off the wheel deflates really quickly)

Shopping basket is extra and very small.

3 wheeler is not very stable - it has tipped over on the bus when the bus has gone around corners and tipped over in the street when I had to change direction quickly.

Some shops became compeletely inaccessible due to the width of the back wheels.

When I got a lightweight stroller when DD was about 18 months old I realised how difficult it had been to push! A rubbish £20 Argos stroller was loads easier lol.

Silvercross. Maybe not fashionable but does the job and doesn't cost a bomb. If you need to buy a lighter 'more controllable' pushchair it's probably a sign you should go to the gym more.

I'm a big mamas and papas fan. i love the luna, Pliko and the beat. all have their plus and minus( although not many and mainly only been the raincovers as my son hates them). tbh my next pram will prob be a pliko (pramette) when baby is small then will move up the the luna again as it i a dream to push and so lightweight. and i highly recommend these to all.

I have a Silver Cross Sleepover pram and a Silver Cross Pop Sport pushchair. I use the pram every day and the pushchair occasionally (it was bought to go in the car).

My friend has a Quinny Buzz and loves it.
