I agree. DD is still facing me at 15 months (she prefers it) and is already talking lots more than friends' babies of the same age. I definitely wanted her to face me for the first year but she loves it - i only turn her round if we go out somewhere like the river to see the ducks, but even then not always. Then again, I also wore her in a sling loads when she was under a year, and she loved that too as I could talk to her and she could interact with my world, not the world of knees!
It's why I didn;t buy the Pliko Pramette as they can;t face you in pushchair mode. I said in an earlier post I have the Silver cross Sleepover, and I still use it now, it's great and I love it. I can even turn her from facing me to facing forward with her IN THE PRAM. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I bought the Quinny Zapp to use as a frame with a maxi cosi car seat attached. I use it to keep in the car or if i'm going anywhere where space will be tight. It's light, nifty and small folding. I don't like that there's no shopping basket as standard and also it seems easy to tip over due to the lightness of it. I won't be using this when ds2 outgrows the car seat.
I've got a Quinny Buzz too, i love the newborn seat as it's memory foam. ds2 falls asleep as soon as he's put in it, it's worth it's weight in gold. It's more stable than the zapp and nicer to push. I like that it's parent facing too, so this will be the main pushchair to use when ds outgrows the carseat.
I'd never heard of the buzz til my neighbour got one, I'm glad she did now though, I wouldn't be without it. Both were bought second hand in excellent condition for a fraction of what they would have been new.0
