We have a maxi cosi streety and love it.

We are going to need a double in January, but will still keep the streety as a) we need a second stage 1 car seat as Alex will still be in his primo viaggio b) I love the carrycot for baby to sleep in at night and c) one day i hope to be back to a single pushchair.

This is the one we got was a bit worried as said it some reviews there were some issues re durability but after trying some in shops, liked the way it was lightweight, folded small, bubs could face us and could put car seat on chassis rather than on pushchair which made some travel systems huge. Glad to hear it is good for you :)

lilmisskitkat, yes i agree the floating 5 point harness seems silly. one of the major let downs. but i love the fact there was a built in foot bar so you coul give a ride to you older baby. i sold mine i had the polka colour way and bought the luna. but i def will buy the pliko again for next baby. as it ideal in summer baby can lay out when it in the pramette way and stay cool. yet if in winter again baby can lay out but be really snuggled. Also if your not worried about buying second hand you can get some amazing deals on ebay. i've got a few in my watch me now and i am amazed at how reasonable they are going for.

    I've been Money Tipped!
But you see - where everybody else seems to have 2 or 3 buggies over a babies/childs life, I will only have my Stokke. And when I am done with it someone will pay me to take it off my hands and go and enjoy it as much as I did. I don't know of any other buggy like it.

I have a couple of friends with Bugaboos and by 18 months they have swapped to 'something smaller' or 'more manageable' - I won't be doing that.

I did borrow a buggy from a lovely MSE buddy to take on holiday because I didn't want to risk it on a plane but have since decided that I don't care...I won't be going away without my Stokke again :D

I don't get the pram addicition either. Had my sisters old travel system for first 3 months, then went into the Maclaren which I'd bought on advantage card points :T

Kept me going for both my 2, buggy board on the back for a year, travelled the rugged lands of New Zealand and the less rugged Tunisia, very easy to use and have just passed it onto a local Christian charity who give prams to families who need them as it still has much life in it.

And having used that pram daily for about 5 years for £70 of ad points, you can see why OH would think £800 excessive :D

We got a maxi cosi trio for me, it's been a pretty good buy. It came with the car seat which clipped in to a base in the car so you can get the baby in and out of the car without waking them up, a carry cot and reversible push chair. The only time it has ever been a problem was when we went for a walk and mud got in between the wheels and the little mud guards stopping the wheels turning. The reverable push chiar is a bit of a gimmick but granddad insists on having the seat facing him when he goes out with our 11 month old which keeps him happy but she's not so keen on the idea now.

We were given a perfectly serviceable Greco by a mate that would have done the job but the misses had to have a new one but luckily Father in law is loaded so he paid. :D
Nothing to see here, move along.

I bought my daughter a 4 wheel O Baby Travel System. It was on sale at our local (usually expensive) pram shop; reduced from £220 to £149. All users are extremely pleased with it.

Mines the polka dot one too :D I got mine off ebay for £180 and it was immaculate, all accessories included and the lovely seller delivered it for me. I was going to go with the M&P Ultima with the seperate carrycot as i like the style of a proper pram but am sooooo glad i got the pramette, loads lighter and much easier to manuovre and fold than a traditional pram.

Can't wait to have baby #3 to put in it :j

  • I have a quinny buzz, recent research showed that buggies where the child faces the parent aid language development, and indeed DD2 said her first word at 6 months and has advanced language now at nearly 3.

Check it will fit in your car, and the handle height is right for your back (another reason I chose the quinny as the handles are adjustable and I'm tall).

We also have a Mcclaren 4 wheeler for when babe is old enough to manage with less back and head support. This had done 2 children so far and been off road and allsorts, its ace, but have replace the rain cover twice as they break.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
