That is a really good thought and should reach that by the end of the year. When I first started on here and my diary I found my debt very daunting and everything was in a muddle. Now things are much more in control and MSE is a way of life.
I think some threads on here have really helped and breaking everything down into small bits (hence the monthly plans) was a really good tool.

    Hi Robsmum :)
I have just read through your introduction after looking for something on here to help me and we share similar stories :)
    Here's a little about me:

I am 37 years of age, have a lovely husband and two fantastic teenage boys aged 13 and 17 :) I work as a classroom assistant in a Special Needs school - challenging but very rewarding :) I am not depressed but when I get home from work I just need to sleep and lack energy at the weekends - have slept most of the afternoon today unfortunately :(
Finances are tight, house is a mess and I won't even go there regarding the garden, lol! I think the house being so disorganised is helping to sap my energy as well as little things that I could work on that would probably make a huge difference :) I smoke, (less than 10 a day but would like to stop), I don't get my 5 a day, I don't drink water and drink far too much coffee and I don't exercise. I know all these changes will help - I just don't know where or how to start?
Thank you for your diary - I wonder whether to join you or start one of my own or both?
Any advice would be so much appreciated x
    Jenny x
Everything happens for a reason :)

HI Jenny, welcome to my diary, as you see I don't get many visitors so anyone's welcome. If you decide to start your won also let me know and I'll subscribe.
I had to chuckle reading your post I could have written it!

Where to start? When I was really low someone from another thread suggested I start "where I am today" - at that point it was really good advice but I was so overwhelmed I didn't know where I was:eek:
I began by spending an afternoon scribbling down everything that was bugging me, I felt was wrong in my life and also anything I was pleased with(at that point very few).
I then broke it down into the worst sections - if you have chance read the rest of my diary that explains it.

The first bits of advice I would give are: do as I did and write everything down(you don't have to deal with it yet just get it down)also make an appointment with your GP for a check up to ensure there is no underlying reason for your tiredness.
We can progress from there!Good Luck.

    Morning Robsmum,

A little bit upset for you today. When you said you do not get many visitors to your diary. I feel really awful. I am still subscribed to your diary. I just do not get time at the moment to post. Very sorry.... I will try better in the future.

Have a great day and wrap up warm it is really cold today.

Thank you Nousk for your post. Didn't mean to make anyone feel guilty!

Day off today and had a very early start and rude awakening. Had to take OH to work and then drop car at garage for 8am - new cam belt to be fitted and bye-bye to £250:eek:but on the positive side it prolongs the life of the car and it was budgetted for.

In true MSE style I bought a cup of coffee from the burger van to try to keep warm, waiting for garage to open and resisted the gorgeous smelling bacon roll and came home and made myself one.

Off to do weekly housework blitz and then update my diary. I may have got warm by doing that:rotfl::rotfl:

I'm subscribed to your Diary too and always read it.....Just I'm really really bad at Posting...on my own Diary AND on other people's :o

Sounds like you're doing really well....

Well done for making your own Bacon Roll instead of buying one....I was really tempted to go to my Local Cafe for a Fry-Up on Sunday morning but then remembered I had some Bacon and some Rolls so I saved £7 and made a couple of Rolls at home instead...

I'll try and do better and comment more in here :D

Thank you to Nuesk and Dreamer Helen and welcome to my diary. I didn't mean to make anyone feel guilty!

    Financial:
Getting back on track after my spending whilst away- am doing BIL's cleaning this week so extra money there, but have decided to blow that and have a much needed haircut.:eek:Once I get paid on Friday I think I should be almost back to target:j
    Garden:
Finally got the garden cull/renovation completed on Sunday. The weather can do it's worst now. Want to dig out and gravel a small bit to extend my patio but I think that can wait until Spring ( I will also have saved the money for gravel then)
    House:
Having done half the weekly housework blitz and got distracted by cleaning all the CD cases (disgusting) I checked my monthly plans and only have 1 outstanding job left there:j1 windowsill to sand and re-stain.
    Health and Wellbeing:
OK on that front. Got very itchy eyes at moment but hope that's just post massive gardeing and being a bit tired.
    Christmas:
Have just got a couple of pocket money type toys to get for the 2 stockings and they are done. Have to ensure DS and OH have the sametoys so they can play all over Christmas :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Ordered OH's desk calendar today - very MSE, cheaper than through the Leeds shop and free postage.
A few more dried groceries crossed off the list at the weekend.
    Creative:
2nd cushion almost finished. Back ready to sew for that set. Then only 1 set to go:j

Other news: my electric steamer died yesterday and I was at a total loss as I always cook my veg in it. More money to spend I think and then this morning I told my neighbour and she gave me hers as she never uses it. Thank you Universe.

Quick hoover and then off to pick up the car and then OH.
