Have got upstairs sorted out and the bathroom has been deep cleaned.:j
I gave myself a mantra earlier in the year "As 1 new item came in the house so 1 old one went" and so far I have stuck to it. Shame I can't get OH to do the same.
Have this morning disposed of sheets(recycled),waste bin(rubbish), bathmat(rubbish), laundry baskets(recycled) and towels (ripped up and in rag bag). :j
Lunch now and a bit of a break and then:
Living room
Ironing
Cooking (quiches from free eggs)
15 minutes doing the bogey job- sorting bills, paperwork etc that's been neglected. Due to my erratic wage payment etc everything financial has been a muddle and have been really struggling to keep up to date with anything. Thanks to my win and hopefully getting paid electonically in future I may at last be able to start to seriously budget and maybe even balance the books.:eek:Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Just ironing and cooking left to do:j
Have tackled today's bogey job and although not yet been able to make payments feel the decks are almost clear to do so next week.:j
Off now to finish chores and be back Monday. My brother is coming for the weekend so don't think I'll get anything much done.

congratulations on your win. I bet that will make life a lot easier. Could you use some of the win to make full and final settlement offers on your debts. Might cost you less that way

Day off again. Today I am going to do the weekly housework blitz and some more bits on the life plan - todays bits will be financial as my cheque has now cleared.:j
My brother did me a brilliant plan for my kitchen at the weekend so once the HA let me know when it's going to happen I have something to work with. He did tell me though that I have to do some serious de-cluttering:eek:
Prior to my manically buzy time I had got upstairs nearly done but guess I need to get back to it.
For a month now we have quiet weekends so should be able to catch up on everything.
De-cluttering here I come - even my garden needs de-cluttering or taming:eek:at the moment it resembles a rain forest.
More later.Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Today has been a good day.:j
Financial:
Cheque has cleared so I have spent a lot of today doing the financial bogey jobs.
1) Council Tax arrears all paid and up to date:j
2) Budget worked out:j
3) CCCS review done:j
4) 1 years house contents insurance taken out as of now:jGot this for a very good price through Gocompare.com and it's with Saga as I am 55:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:There are advantages of getting older.
5) Was going to pay catalogue but after taking advice have put that on hold until I have a copy of credit agreement and then negotiated a F+F settlement. Letter to them to be posted tonight.
House/Garden:
Weekly housework blitz done.
Only ironing left - will do some of it later once it cools down a bit.

Am struggling with de-cluttering:eek: My mantra of"one out and one in" is being tested at the moment.
Have been given some furniture, 2 bedside cabinets and a bedroom chair. The chair is beautiful and that can go straight in and the old come out but the bedside cabinets need a bit of attention before they can go in:mad: I guess the thing to do is one at a time.
Do excuse me just rambling on just trying to get my head clear so that I can keep at my plans.........Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

2nd veggie patch (at B.I.L's ) finally planted:j
Now need to get downstairs done and start on some life plans.Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Right, update time.
Financial:
This is much more under control now:jHave got budget done, council tax up to date and SO set up, phone bill paid.
Now that my wages are mostly paid into the bank it is much easier to budget. From my win I also put money into my current account which means I can set up SO's etc and avoid late payments.:j
The spending diary is brilliant and is also up to date. If I write it all down I'm much more aware of what and when I spend.
Buffer zone coming along (see signiture)
Savings coming along also.
£700 is in my ISA account and forgotten about.:j
Only financial bogey is catalouge but after taking advice from National Debt Advisory I have written and asked for a copy of my credit agreement(not arrived) but yesterday sent them an offer of £96 as a Full and Final settlement. This is 1/3rd of balance, so it's wait and see time.
House/garden:
Garden all culled and tidy again. Need to plant some veg seeds this week.
Upstairs all de-cluttered.
Knowledge/Learning:
Nothing new on this front.
Health/Well being:
Health is better. I am not as tired now having had some rests.
Started water flossing again, so teeth a bit better.
Smoking crept up again:eek: so need to tackle this again.
Creative:
Got to make 2 cushions and then start on making B.I.L's cushions
Christmas:
Have started on Christmas this week! Have bought OH 2 CD's and started on the stockings.
Need to do lists and plans.
Off now to do some 15 minute bursts.

Another week flown by, but things still quite positive:j
Weekly houework blitz half done, just got to finish upstairs - will get back to that shortly.
Financial:
Still under control:j
Still battling with catolouge company, finally got my credit agreement, though not a "true and signed by me" copy. Am waiting to hear from them about accepting/rejecting my F+f offer.
Have also finally got some bits put on Ebay, 2 of which have sold and have bids of £5.50 and £13.50 and still 5 days to go, so looking good.
House/garden:
Getting there on that front. The de-cluttering is work in progress, just keep chipping away at it.
Veg plots doing well. Have started taking cuttings with a view to having lots of babies next year and so far so good.
I buy a reduced plant and chop away and see what happens. Lavender was my first and 2 weeks later they are still alive.
Health and Wellbeing:
Not too bad on that front, but have got an infection in my gum again. Lots of water flossing and that shoul sort it.
Knowledge/Learning;
Having read about Flora's dial I then researched it andspent a happy few hours learning about something I had never heard of.
Also read a book about the role women have played in gardening - big change there as I usually read novels.
Creative:
Got 2 cushions to finish this week. Then am going to cut out the first patches to make a quilt.
Christmas:
Have done my lists, shopping list for food etc, menu plans, card list and started on gift ideas. Have also stared doing the 2 stockings. Progress there also.
