Yesterday ended fairly succesfully - my late wages were there and Freecycle bits were collected this time.:j
I am on the hunt now for small jam jars for my hampers. I have spent all afternoon Googling jars - they are either very expensive + high postage or cheaper + high postage but far too many:mad:. On another thread a poster suggested looking at value/basic stuff in jars (will look at that one) and am now begging from everyone they finish small jars of stuff up and give me jars.
No-one is suprized any more about things I ask them:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Still not heard from the job and have been a bit down about that - but then thought" ok brush yourself down and keep looking/applying and you never know...."
I am so fed up at my current job and just want to go in and say" stuff it" but have to be realistic. I can't afford not to be working, so have to stick it until something else comes up. So am trying to regain my positive outlook.
Having a buzy weekend:
Helping my neighbour decorate her living room ( at least she'll have 1 decent room for Christmas) - second coat of paint today.
Got to go up the road a couple of times today and exercise a mad dog who lives on the farm ( where the free eggs come from). Doing a bit of bartering here - I look after the dog and he's giving up a day to help BIL repair/rescue my shed.
Got to cut OH's hair - done this for years and I hate doing it.
Somehow got to do somebaking and more dolls clothes sewing.
There's not enough hours in the day:eek: this was supposed to be a quiet weekend as am sooo tired.:eek:Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Hiya, you always sound so busy, how do you motivate yourself ? My procrastination techniques not working very well. I still have long spells of doing S*d all. I feel so tired (help if I shifted some weight).
Well done on the bartering :j. I know exactly where you are coming from being in a job you dislike. The job i have now is brilliant I love it. But for about 29yr prior to this job, all I knew was factory work and I hated every minute of it. When I look back, such a waste of time, but knew no better.
Have you got orders for your dolls or do you make them and then sell them. As i have said I always did factory work, this was as a sewing machinist, so not a lot I cannot make. About 5 or 6yr ago I started making a patch work quilt (not by had). I bought remnant material, nicer curtains from charity shops (they were just starting to become popular then), used a CD case, cut out lots and lots of squares and started sewing them together, its half done and in the loft. I think i will get it out again ?
Wish i had as much energy as you seem to have.Do I need this or just want it.

Having a duvet day today - I have felt so tired for the last couple of weeks, which came to a head last night so today I threw a sicky:eek: Let her know at 7.30 and went back to bed, slept until 10.30, so think I made the right decision. Money isn't always the top priority, I guess.
Having a quiet day, going to watch a film this afternoon and maybe do some dolly hand sewing.
Got another tray of free eggs yesterday:eek:Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Good for you..........your always full of busy, reading your posts makes me tired :rotfl: No, money is not everything. Health is important too. I am teaching myself that money is not everything.......after bills are paid more important and enjoyable things to do than spend money........just finding out what they are.Do I need this or just want it.

Well, Monday's sicky day has developed into a sicky week so am a weeks money down - but yesterday felt like I really didn't care!
Until today have done nothing at all and am beginning to feel a bit better. It has also emphasised how much I hate my job and have to concentrate on finding another - easier said than done but has hardened my resolve.
I have got rag doll 1 finished this afternoon, so must start on 2nd one now. I have really enjoyed making her. The great niece she's going to is 2 and I made her Mum one at the same age (she's still got her) - don't know if this one will last as long! Kids seem to play
differently these days.
Going to empty my Christmas pot tommorow and see how much I've squirrelled away.
