Here Rusty, this is from their site/policy docs (as I said on the last page) - Their Claims Handlers are One Claims, who I have dealt with many times and are one of the best.

I think you are safe (as far as I can say).

Thanks for that. I was having trouble getting insurance, due to OH medical conditions, the only one that came in prior to this one, was quoting £145. Theirs came in at £66 with lower excess to pay. I usually use Columbus direct, but they wouldn't give an online policy to cover exemptions.

Thanks for confirming they seem ok.
  • I am 52 and last year I had a hysterectomy due to fibroids as well an umbilical hernia repair. I am fully recovered and in excellent health. I need travel insurance for a trip to the Seychelles later this year and am wondering which company to use. I shouldn't need cover in relation to these things but do I need to declare them? Some sites will only seem to let me declare the fibroids (which I no longer ) and not the hystectomy. They then ask if I suffer from heavy bleeding which is stupid because that is now impossible. Anyone got any suggestions about which company might be good to use? I am a qualified scuba diver and may consider doing a couple of dives whilst out there so may need cover which will let me.

    Thanks.

    Hi all,
I'm going to Florida for 62 days, and I am looking for travel insurance. I did a search on moneysupermarket and came up with some results for 62 day cover - although reading the policy documents, it is not clear whether I am buying 17, 30, or 62 day cover.

Anyone have any advice on what is the best option?

    Thx

    Here
is my post - although long ity is worth the read and although my specialty and this post, are aimed at Florida, the general info is the same for most/many destinations.

Hi FH Brit, are there any insurers you currently recommend as the Florida thread is a little out-of-date with regards to them; for instance the Post Office are now underwritten by AXA, who you don't recommend?

    Get it now.

You really need insurance against cancellation in place from the moment you book. You could get run over by a bus at any time!
