I tried throughout the day yesterday & again this morning just after 6am but I keep getting the same 'please call back later' page.
It's odd how some of us are getting onto the site ok but a lot of us can't. I know it's probably going to be a million to one shot of being picked by npower once all the registrations are finished but worth a try.
Good luck everyonePuddle Jumper 10 -
I thought of entering for the Fridge Freezer, but in the next 6 months or so we will be moving, so wondered if disconnecting the router, we will loose the chance of getting a fridge freezer.0

clause 4
The Trial (insofar as it relates to you) will start on installation of the Equipment (as described in clause 7 below) in your home and end (again insofar as it relates to you) upon whichever of the following events is first to occur: (i) your withdrawal from the Trial; (ii) termination of the Trial or your participation in it by RLtec; (iii) you moving home (unless RLtec agrees under clause 22 to your participation in the Trial continuing in your new home); (iv) the ending of the energy supplier Carbon Emissions Reduction Target; or (v) 31 December 2012.
clause 22

If you intend to move home during the Trial you must notify RLtec at least 14 days beforehand. In general if you move home you will be deemed to have terminated the Trial and you agree that you will upon reasonable notice provide access to your home to RLtec to remove the Equipment. In the event that RLtec, at its absolute discretion agrees that your participation in the Trial may continue at your new home you agree that you will upon reasonable notice provide access to RLtec to your old home prior to your moving date to remove the Equipment and with access to your new home to reinstall it.Cheryl0 -

I sympathise with those individuals that are still trying to register for a free freezer.
As I have indicated in my previous two postings on this thread, npower have deliberately hardcoded the 'please call back later' message on their web page due to the performance problems of their web server. Please remember that the npower web server provides value add options for it's customers; for example the option to enter gas and electric readings. Npower have been naive in not adequately performance testing their web server but, from their perspective, it is not unreasonable to effectively disable the free freezer register in order to protect the value add services for it's customers.
I would advise people not to try access the web page during early morning or late evening. The npower IT staff have deliberately hard coded the 'please call back later' message in order to prevent people regsiering and I would be very surprised if the staff were going to suddenly re-enable the register during late evening or early morning. Their core hours are probably 0800hrs to 1800hrs; although they might provide out-of-hours support and be working extra hours in order to rectify the problem.
As I advised previously, my advise is to complain to the npower CEO via email. Customer services will then contact you to advise when the web server is functioning again so that you can register for the freezer. This worked fine for me yesterday, when I successfully registered after being contacted by customer services after my complaint to the CEO.
Good luck and I hope the above helps.0 -
Am I wrong in thinking this? I recommend the link to my friends who lost everything in a house fire last weekend as a way of trying to help them out. They aren't the most well off people, but when she went through the link, she was told you had to swap supplier or be a customer. I thought the original MSE post said you didn't have to be a customer?
"Don't worry we also have it in writing that your data won't be used to sell you things, nor passed on, and you don't have to be an nPower customer. "

I'm not an nPower customer, and it let me registerCheryl0

call me mean, but i thought this was an offer for mse members, so why is everyone posting it on face book, and sending links to non members? what chance do we have if its opened up to the whole country? it was an offer blagged by martin lewis and team for the site users. no wonder most of us cant register. i am one of the lucky ones who have.0
