This is an absolute shambles!!!! Been trying since yesterday to apply for this as really need a new fridge freezer. Same message that site to busy come back later. Martin please get onto npower & c whats going on????

Just managed to register after trying on and off since yesterday morning (including 5am today!!!)

There's definitely something up with the page as it insists on reloading after answering certain questions, but nothing changes on the page apart from the couple of times it lost some of my answers.

Anyway, keep trying everyone, you'll get there eventually...

I have just managed to register after trying since this morning. It reloads a few times on the 2nd page but didn't lose any answers. Keep trying and you should get the page to work

Registered. It has been saying 'come back later' for the last few days, as stated in the MSE article.

The reason why Step 2 keeps refreshing is because nPower are using some statistic gathering software that triggers when you choose certain (radio) options. But rather than using AJAX or other 'on the fly' technology, they are reloading the entire page, while still storing your answers. Usually the reason for this is so the statistic gathering software works on all browsers (including really old ones). Quite frustrating though.

The nPower site is still struggling as you can see - it's doing its best to get up again. It's likely that the deadline will be extended past Monday due to the problems - just waiting for confirmation.

I have tried for ages now to become another of the thousands to register for a free fridge ( What we do for a freebie!!!) BUT I cannot access the link, I have been trying all day, now it states the link is down due to the volume... GREAT! What a shambles.:mad:
