Unreal - on night shift and never got past the please call back later page. If a site fails during midnight to 9 am then I am sure it will be broken throughout the next week.You cant take the trousers off an elephant!0

This is a joke - looking at the site both the standard npower.com site and the site for the fridge are on the same machine, as such the site is NOT too busy as the main site works fine!!
If the original post is correct that npower have stated that the 900 names are random then there simply should be no limit as to the number of people can sign up!! As previously stated no matter what time of the day or night we are getting the message saying the site is too busy, I feel that npower are stopping the sign ups but not willing to actually make it public!!
Come on MSE, get this sorted for us as we've only got until Monday to sign up.0 -
Well I have been trying to log onto the page through the web link since yesterday. Web page is very busy. I am giving up!!! More important things in life than sitting trying to get onto a website.0

I tried to access the site at 5:30 am and it still said call back later due to high traffic levels. What a pile of steaming brown nonsense!0

I agree with Peteoc. NPower obviously cannot cope with the load! I spent most of yesterday morning trying to fill in the form which constantly kept reloading! Today NPower cannot handle the traffic! Are they so naive to realise they wouldn't get such volume? Very disappointing way to run a web site!0

Tried several times since 06:00 this morning. Website still saying traffic management etc. Would be nice to get the fridge. I have my Router on 24 hrs a day so no big deal there for me. In fact I only spend around £3.77 per week on electricity anyway according to my recent EDF bill!! Actual readings as well.. Large 1 bed flat with 1 person living there.
I just hope this is not a ploy from N-Power to contact us to ask us to switch once they have our details!! Ha0
