Wii Fit questions

If you don't want to have your weight flashed up, set up the wii fit the first time on your own. It takes less than 10 mins. After the first time, you can always skip that bit. Sadly there is no disguising your mii's pot belly

We've had our wii fit for 4 days and it's great!
You can lock your details with a password but even after that you have to click on the weight button if you want to see it, it won't flash up on the screen unless you do.

It's early days yet but I do find it motivational and it's good the way it keeps track of what you've done. Also had good fun adding the 4 cats and 2 dogs mii's lol

You can password it so that no one else sees it.

OH's mum does this as she doesn't want us all knowing what she weighs.

Thanks guys! Have been convinced! I've just ordered the wii and will be getting the fit board after xmas!

Am definately reassured that there will be no embarressing weight moments! It's stupid I know as boyfriend clearly knows I'm not a tiny size 8 stick but the thought of having my actual weight showing up on the huge tv just fills me with horror:eek:! Of course all that will change once the board has done it's job and I actually am the size 8 stick!!! :rotfl:

i did this with my family - they all thought it was hilarious that my character suddenly looked like jo brand after I had been weighed, what a cheek!!

You won't let your fella's see what weight you are, do you think he cares?
If he didn't like the way you looked he would of said something by now or dumped you.

think about it, he's most likely seen you naked, in unmentionable positions :rotfl:


When i got my Wii Fit, yes i was embarrassed that my OH would see, he didn't bat an eyelid and promptly hopped on after me to find out what he was.

And yes my character resembled Jo Brand too

My Wii Fit told me that I had lost 12 pounds in 1 day. As I hadn't given birth in that time period, I think it must be rather inaccurate!

You can buy the Wii console on it's own or part of a package with the Wii board
here as an example.

or Game store, lots of stores have them.

some games you can play with or without the board, Wii Fit will come with a fitness game

I have fallen out with my wii fit... It tells me i've put on a pound since i had a stomach bug over the weekend (Spent hours throwing up and could eat very little for a couple of days after) Salt in wounds now! :P

I like the wii fit plus games though so our falling out won't last long!
