Tesco misprice policy discussion area part 8

Apologies as it may be on here already but does anyone have a picture of the charts for the week commencing 25th August.

If so I would really appreciate knowing the wording on that. I delayed in going back to my store as we had some problems .

One of my local stores has the Xbox PREY poster still up and the DS & PSP state that CARS is the game of the week!
In other words they still have the charts for the W/C 25th August still up!
They also have conflicting £10 & £20 POS material for the Xbox & PSP.

How on earth can they argue now! That has blown thier argument completely out of the water.
Not only does it appear in the multibuy section saying xbox + Game, both items have an asterix next to them so that means the discount is off both marked items and not just the game, if it were just the game there would only be an asterix next to that.

can i just ask, is the offer when you buy an xbox360 and game of the week you get £20 off - not working in any store? or is it just certain stores because i saw the offer in my local store but didnt want to risk it just incase the discount did actually come off

also there was an offer of a psp and game save £10.

is it that the associate has to manually take the £20 off and that is whats making some of the r&rs

any advice is greatly appreciated

The way I understand it is that some stores are leaving out-of-date A4 posters on display which state which game is currently the "Game of the Week" (and I think it's a different game for each console). Hence if you find an out-of-date poster, the till will not take the multibuy discount off the game indicated on the A4 poster. Therefore you can argue that you're entitled to an R+R because the poster says the game you purchased is Game of the Week. Hope that makes some sense!
