Mis scans and operator errors have been excluded from r&r for around two years when the policy was adjusted to eliminate underpriced items also, I can't remember exatly when but perhaps Constantine can confirm or be more specific about when the adjustment was carried out, it was essentially to eliminate the risk of collaboration between employee and customer, undercharged items were originally included because the general idea behind the policy when introduced was that r&r would trigger a reaction and errors would be corrected quickly thus saving Tesco a lot of money as a result of undercharging or reduce the risk of prosecution and loss of customer faith in relation to overcharging, after the initial honeymoon period of rapid reaction the response time dwindled in many cases and it was busines as usual, as a result of this there was obviously no saving being made on undercharging and no benefit only risk.

Ok thanks Ben500, didn't want to ruin it for anyone just wanted to be fair and get one r'n'r lol.Worth a shot anwyay ;)

So the Xbox thing - what do I need to check and is it worth a shot? Can argue until I'm blue in the face and got a mega-brass neck and ahte Tesco and the like for killing the high street, at the same time don't want to be left with an expensive console which I can't really justify...:money:

Correct me if I'm wrong but judging by the tone of this whole thread, you all talk as if you're engaging in criminal behaviour.

It must make you feel really brave as you lay awake at night wondering how you can boldly take on the might of a giant corporate monster such as Tesco and win!

Still, I suppose if they manage to close their loop-holes you could always harness that heart-thumping, jelly-knee'ed courageous bottle you've managed to aquire by becoming a shoplifters ...

Are you a tesco employee by any chance?

With a joining date of September and a post count of 3 (2 are identical) I wonder if the third is the same as well! Think I'll have a look to see!
    Edit:
Ooh I can see it now!
    It's a very useful post.
It must be as Constantine thinks so!

I see you found the correct place to make your post all on your own well done!

Stand corrected, it is only the less knowledgable amongst us who are under the illusion that there is anything criminal about our activities.

Equally as brave as you must be to need to register a new id in order to post your provocative statement.

I personally sleep soundly especially after a good brandy although I'm running low now as they haven't mispriced it for nearly 14 months now and I only picked up around 25 bottles.

    Tis a sweet feeling

The heart thumping stopped long ago for myself, never experienced "Jelly knee" and no courage required

Why on earth steal something that is free anyway?

So long as you are methodical there is no need for bravado and no risk on your part, feel free to have a go yourself one day
