Ken-Dodds-Hairy-Nodule.The scanners in my local Tescos don't work for customers either. I lurked near a scanner & watched the assistants put in a code so they could use it! Unfortunately I couldn't see what the code was. Perhaps Mr T is getting sneaky?0

If Saints Row is the correct game of the week, why was the Tesco's that I bought my X-Box from displaying a poster saying that Prey was the game of the week? The poster definitely said for week commencing 1st September.0 -

Because the POS material is wrong (same as last time). Apparently, this is a technical problem. It hasn't made Tesco remove the products from sale, or take the offending POS down, though...In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Upon checking my receipt, before leaving the store, I noticed that a bottle of Sminoff had been double scanned. I went to Cs desk, lovely cs lady apologised and refunded the £13.xx. and I left. When I got to my car I thought " ehm...should that have been a double refund and got to keep the bottle of vodka?" surely not?? I showed my receipt to my DH and he said that they were wrong and had overcharged us in effect £26.xx for a bottle of vodka so we should get double R&R.... I went off back to see nice CS lady who explained that I hadnt been more than the SEL and that double scans dont count for R&R. It actually did look quite clear on their policy notice too?? so now I dont know if I should of had a double R&R or not???
what do you think guys??? did that nice CS lady just pull the wool right over my eyes??
p.s I will still enjoy the vodka but oh how much sweeter it would of been if it had been R&R'd
No, r and r does not apply to miss scans at the till, just to items that are incorrectly priced on the shelf.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

At least you have scanners - the Aylesbury store simply removed them all.You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

If they aren't interested in fixing a problem they know about then screw them.
It is everypersons duty to go and deprive tesco of £320. I beseech thee, go now!!
Think of all the grocers they have put out of business and do it for them.

In the store I went to yesterday Prey wasn't the game of the week, something else was (name escapes me atm). The label said "£10 off ps2 or xbox360 when bought with a game (offer ends 31/aug)" and further along it had a pic of the game of the week.ॐ Signature Removed by Someones Mum. ॐ0 -
Mis scans and operator errors have been excluded from r&r for around two years when the policy was adjusted to eliminate underpriced items also, I can't remember exatly when but perhaps Constantine can confirm or be more specific about when the adjustment was carried out, it was essentially to eliminate the risk of collaboration between employee and customer, undercharged items were originally included because the general idea behind the policy when introduced was that r&r would trigger a reaction and errors would be corrected quickly thus saving Tesco a lot of money as a result of undercharging or reduce the risk of prosecution and loss of customer faith in relation to overcharging, after the initial honeymoon period of rapid reaction the response time dwindled in many cases and it was busines as usual, as a result of this there was obviously no saving being made on undercharging and no benefit only risk.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

As for the recent/current debacle with console bundles this is not the kind of r&r opportunity we normally see, the problem is that most if not all of the pos are incorrect and vary considerably throughout the country and without every store checking every pos with a test transaction they are going to pop up all over the country at varying degree throughout the duration of the promotion which if I'm not mistaken has app another three weeks to run.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0
