Wowzzers! did you buy all of those?? and more importantly did you get any R&R?? My DH would kill me if I speculated on our CC to that extent, :rotfl:
Although he now thinks I have B***s of steel to go and get the R&R's I have been successful on so far (seems he's a bit of a chicken..:rolleyes2) but now I am his hero, (not that I wasn't before) and he just loves me even morebless!!

I did & I didn't. I am still awaiting HO reply on my complaints.
I had to wait all weekend for the refunds to appear back onto my account though. I can now go back out to get some more r&r's.

Stil cross about Tesco's attitude. I am off to use all my extra points tokens and am then doing all my shopping in other supermarkets.0

Also, if you have a complaint about how a member of staff (including managers) has handled your complaint, CS won't help you. They've been told to direct you back to the store. "Even store managers have managers", to quote someone from Dundee. So, if you had an argument with the store manager about this or anything else, you're to complain to his manager via the store in question. Daft, eh? Like you're going to get very far by complaining via the store. I wonder what Customer Services can help you with, if not complaints? It seems right now that CS in Dundee is completely useless and worthless, as they cannot offer any form of customer service. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

what is wombling?0

Wombling is the art of hunting for discarded Tesco receipts in trolleys, floors, bins etc and finding ones which have not had the points allocated to a Clubcard. Simply take them the CS and they will put them on your card for you!!Nothing can compareTo when you roll the dice and swear your love's for me0

Yes but Ella, wasn't it you who has posted the details of the £2.60 coupon in today's Times? Thankyou by the way (go get stacks, everyone!). Make sure your 'other supermarket' will take the coupons, lol!
Just got R&R on the Happy Faces biscuits, mentioned on the old thread, amazingly the yellow offer SEL is dated end of July (offer doesn't work, can't recall what it says but if you find the out-of-date SEL it's a sure one! Check it out when looking for Aeros, snickers and Wotsits).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes it was OH buys the Times everyday. Just glad to help others as I have had loads of tips off this site.0 -
Managed to get R&R on 3 PSP games and 2 GBA games!!!! All had price stickers on PSP games said 19.94, and I was charged 19.97 - GBA games both were priced at 12.94 - Charged 19.99 for one and 14.99 for the other - Two separate stores on separate days - first was 2 PSP games - noticed that SEL label was different to price on item- self scanned - then bought "king kong" for PSP - took to CS - She whispered something to colleague who said "you have to" (assume she was talking about R&R) got the money back along with free PSP game!!! Second store (different day) two more PSP games (cheeky this time - tried 2!) no prob with R&R whatsoever!!!1
Today went back to original store - all PSP games marked with 19.94 had had stickers removed (coincidence????) looked at GBA games and got a result - Robots and Donkey Kong!!! - They will prob check all GBA games now - will have to use another store.
At the end of the day, it's up to them to make sure their prices are correct!! Surely they have a price check team!! - I know in B&Q they do (I used to work there) if item was on shelf and wrongly priced and Trading Standards see it they can fine them for each item on the shelf - surely it is in their interests that we are pointing out their mistakes!!!0 -
MyUserNamesTaken wrote:CS staff in Dundee have been told to refer all complaints about the Xbox 360/PS2/PSP mix up back to stores to deal with. Apparently, this has come from Store Support in Cheshunt. Cheshunt (HO) is now also referring all complaints about this back to the original stores, saying it's at the manager's discretion to honour the R&R. If the manager decides against honouring it, CS and HO won't step in. Sucks, eh? So, Tesco has a national policy which suddenly becomes "at the manager's discretion" when and if Tesco feels like it.
So if you've already been refused R&R for the PS2/game offer at the store you bought it in, can you take it back to another store to try? I've got a copy of the offer SEL as well in case that can help me0 -
Bit of a story to tell...
Went to tesco today on a psp game hunt and baggsyd 5 games all ringing the wrong price at the scanner so bought all 5 with about another £25 worth goods. All rang through and was overcharged on all, one of them by £6, went to the customer service desk and a young lad dealt with me and said he'd go and see electrical desk. while he was away a lady came to the front desk and asked if i had a problem, not knowing what was going on i said i didnt but then another CS person came over and said they'd seen me before and accused me of scamming (I hadnt been in for about 3 months), anyway the lady said she had to deal with something else first and i said fine, the other CS person dissapeared and then the young lad came back and offered me the full R&R which i accepted (obviously) and then having got my items left the building.
A couple of hours later i was passing another tesco and went in to see if they had any misprices and they did on the DS games so i tried to get another 3 of them, however when i was waiting at the CS desk the manager came over with 2 security guards and asked if id been in the first store to which i said yes i had. He then asked me to come with him and took me to some dodgy looknig room and grilled me about why i was trying to defraud the company going to two different stores trying the R&R policy on, i said i was just doing as the policy stated if i had been overpriced i was entitled the games and my money back. i was charged over £10 more on one game and over £5 on another, the other was 5p more. He then asked if i'd like a criminal record and that he would get the police involved, so i said i'd just like my money back please not wanting to push him and his two burly "friends" as i felt intimidated. He then told me my pictyure would be circulated around all the stores in the area and that i was banned from his store. one of the security guards then led me to the main CS desk in the store and got me my refund although as i knew he would kept the bit of paper with my details on which i was asked to fill out for the refund (luckily i decided to make it up though and did so in both stores)
I know i was pushing my luck but there wouldnt have been any issue if the misprices werent there in the first place. Have i been dealt harshly here?0
