Motorola slvr L7 - SEL and scanned at £99.97 but loads of red leaflets and a big display advertising the 10% discount - CS were not impressed and made a big show of dragging the Mobile phone display behind the CS desk to stop anyone else getting them.
Also got a couple of the finest silverside joints just to rub it in:p
All at the Basildon tesco on the Mayflower retail Park - £115 refund with few problems - more than happy as it was my first attempt:cool:0 -
I want to try for a mobile today (as I have managed to lose mine!) with the leaflets but they have just reopened the electrical department after refurbishment so I doubt that there will be any on display near the phones
if i can find them in another part of the store do I have a leg to stand on for R&R???? they will just say the offer is not displayed with phones wont they?0 -

And? Why would that matter?Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -
Hi Constantine
I thought that their argument might be that as the correct price is displayed on SEL near phone then its obvious offer is not on??0 -

Got the best excuse from T's I've had yet yesterday.....bought two packs of beef steaks reduced from £5.55/lb to £4.68/lb, packs still marked £5.55.
Went to CS and she flatly refused on the basis that "the SEL's are irrelevant, it's what's on the packs that counts. If there's no offer sticker on the actual pack, then it's not on offer"
I pointed out that this means they could just have 1 single offer pack on a shelf and everybody would just be charged the higher price even though the SEL said otherwise and she said that was correct. I was so stumped by this argument and flustered by the huge queue behind me I caved in and left. Complaint call to HO and guess what...they agreed with the store!!
Never mind - will get my own back with next week's shop!0 -
so cousinjack full R&R no probs??0

How stupid! I think results with HO really does depend on who you speak to. The other day i spoke to a guy who didn't understand their own policy, but the next day spoke to a lovely lady who did0 -
