DH is in a better mood tonight, that's a relief!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Feeling a bit better today, though still not 100%. Have at least managed to keep something down!
I've redeemed £5 amazon from a survey site and £5 amazon from bingoport, though annoyingly they've changed the redeem amount again, so technically I've overpaid 2000 points. Wonder if they'll give them back to me?"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi,
jwil and peaceandfreedom - i am soo sorry, i was sure i posted a reply yesterday but now have an awful feeling that its on someone elses thread:o yikes!:o:rotfl:
i wanted to say i identified with so much about what you said peaceandfreedom and also sent ((hugs)) your way jwil.
I am pretty sure there was more than that - oh yes woo! for the doors :T - hope you start to feel better soon though jwil.
Due to everything going on here i am trying to focus on me and finding / re-discovering the things which i enjoy and make me happy. What helps is the positive responses i receive from you on here so thank you soo much.
I have started running to try and get some 'head space' and also to help me lose weight, i am sort of doing all the things i'm doing without discussing it with anyone else. I always try and be positive and encourage others but don't seem to get anything like this in return. Instead i get things like: well why would you want to do that? - coupled with a negative tone OR you can't do that OR whats the point in you starting because you'll never be able to do it... i guess that you're getting the picture. So it makes such a huge difference being able to chat on here with you and the way you are so supportive. ((hugs)) and see you tomorrowCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
I'm so glad to hear you are going to start making time for yourself DDFW, you always seem to be running around so much. Hopefully it will give you some time to relax, and yes, just do it! I don't like negativity like that, I think people who are like that generally have more issues with themselves."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I'm feeling a bit better again today. Not 100% but I've at least managed to eat and drink something.
I was watching supersize vs superskinny on Tuesday, and whilst watching it, ate the only thing I'd managed all day - 2 ritz crackers and a polo mint. I could just imagine going on that show and supplying that as a meal for the swap :rotfl::rotfl:
Bingoport gave me back my 2000 points, so happy with that, though I haven't had my amazon voucher yet."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Had a scary moment with the car this morning, it started making the most awful crunching noise at 6.45am where I was doing some work and about 20 miles from home . Apologies if anyone reading was rudely awoken at that time
I was wondering if I'd hit something, or if I was dragging a huge piece of metal along the road but no thankfully.
Spoke to DH who said it sounds like the clutch has gone (it's been not great since I had the car about 4 years ago, so wouldn't be a great surprise). So anyway, carried on and did my surveying, went back to the car and all was fine. I've managed to get back to work ok without a problem so hopefully the gears just slipped or something. At least I don't have a hefty bill for a clutch (touch wood!)"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". In better news, I've received the two amazon vouchers from bingoport and surveys today so very happy with that!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
