I finally got some new batteries for my scales yesterday :(. I knew I'd put on weight, but I am about 1st heavier than I thought I was :eek: It's ridiculous. I'm so overweight, but am so not in the frame of mind to do anything about it. I'm going to have to do something though, I cannot stay like this.

I'm going to try and make some small changes in the hope that collectively they will lead to big changes, but without me noticing too much.

I started by having breakfast at home this morning. WM toast and yoghurt. Then some grapes when I got into work. I need to sort out my snacking though - that is the worst thing. I need to do it frugally though, so will have to get organised.

    Hi Jwil

Woo! :T:T:T To selling all of those books - that is fab - clearing space and making money :D

I too am struggling with my weight - maybe we could encourage each other?

I am trying to make the small change of having breakfast at home everyday - something to get my metabolism going - I do not eat breakfast very often so once I have got this as part of a habit I will move onto the next thing. I am also thinking more about what I eat and when. I do very much enjoy eating healthy food - but it is just so expensive having a filling salad whereas having a sandwich which is just as filling is just pennies hmm

Enjoy reading the books - I have no time for reading now apart from my study stuff x

Thanks DDFW, unfortunately they've cleared space in the garage rather than the house, but it all counts anyway!

Support in the weight thing would be great. I think the small changes should be a good way of getting started off, and hopefully big things will happen eventually. We can do it!

Lunches are my big problem too, and I do find it more expensive to eat healthily.

My CC payment has come out today, but for some reason, I've lost online access, so am going to have to wait for my statement to find out my new balance. It also means I cannot overpay at the moment to this card, so I am REALLY annoyed. I'll have to get onto them to find out what the problem is.

 Eeek, what have I done  I called my CC earlier to see about the access, and they reset my access. Tried to get in again but couldn't so the lady asked for my log in details so they could see the error message that was coming up. I gave them to her thinking I could change them as soon as they got me access, but they can't and I'm waiting for the tech department to get back to me.

I know that most people are trustworthy, but I'm just having visions of her happily shopping away on my CC now. Luckily there's not a huge capacity on there, but anyway :eek::eek:

The only reason I gave them is because I had called them not the other way round, but I can't believe I've done it. I feel really stupid.

Am I overreacting? If they don't call me back tonight, I think I might get a stop put on the card until I get access again. Not sure what to do.

Well a huge relief this morning, I have access to my CC again. I have promptly changed all passwords and security so all is well again. Phew!

Paid off £445 towards debts this morning, so happy with that and it's payday tomorrow. Cannot wait!

Sold 3 items on ebay last night so that is £10.97 to the total, and I sold £8.97 worth on Sunday night which I can't remember if I've recorded yet, so will check that one.

I have a missing item though which was sent on 7th March, so will probably have to refund that this week which is rather annoying.

£150 of the payment this morning was to MBNA which clears my card, hurrah!:j After next month's interest is added and paid, that will be closed and gone forever. So satisfying! :T

Thanks DDFW, it's only paid off though because DH's mortgage contribution arrived in my account before payday :o I couldn't wait!

I will be so glad to see the back of this one, it's been my nightmare. It will also be £9500 off my 'available credit' :j
