Good work on the cards and the sales though.
Hope you feel better soonand Santander sort them selves out!
Thanks Karmachi, I'm feeling a little better today"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Take it easy for a few days and try not to worry about San-bloody-tander. Hope they get their act together for you. You've been working so hard to get everything sorted, no wonder you're feeling tired and stressed.
Thanks peaceandfreedom, they do look a bit dodgy"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi Jwil, back from hols here and caught up on your diary again. Sorry to hear about Santander, not with them myself but know people who are and they say they're awful ! Hope you managed to get things sorted speedily !
Joined the local library here so the housework is now suffering due to me sitting cosily with my slanket with a good book, maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all ! :rotfl:
It's great that you're ebay and amazon sales are booming ! We're going to do a table top sale in a few weeks so I'll be able to get rid of a few things there.
Forgive me for being a bit stoopid, but what's a CBT course?
Hey majjak, did you have a good holiday? Just think of all the money you are saving on cleaning materials by using the library :rotfl:
CBT is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - it is supposed to help you change the way you think and behave about things (I think!)."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Reporting in for update on challenge. I have just listed 7 items on e-bay :j:j:j These are all new listings and not re-lists and following my bit of a LBM earlier this week I am now aiming for 100 newly listed things :eek: so guess thats 7/100 and nothing else selected as yet - best get a wriggle on methinks :rotfl::rotfl:
Be great if anyone would like to join me in this challenge but as I can see you haven't been too well this week i understand if you'd rather not. You take care hom and hope you are feeling better soon ((hugs))
Hey DDFW, well done on the listings! I managed 9 new items, but they are DH's so won't help me with the debts. It helps clear the house though so I'm still counting it!
I have some more stuff to get on, so although I'm not going to set myself a target, I shall try and get some listings done this month.
Ok, because it's easy :rotfl: - I'll set myself a target of getting 28 books on amazon to bring my listings on there up to 250. Every time I sell one, I shall try and add a new one to keep them up to 250 until they are all sold."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Had quite a nice weekend, got a few bits done. Helped DH do some sorting which now means we have access to 2 rooms which were barely accessible before! :j
A couple of bits are now ready to go, but it was more a case of re-stacking things to make it a bit more organised. DH has boxed up a lot of loose stuff so that all helps too.
We went booting yesterday morning, I bought 4 books and a dvd
I sold 3 books on ebay and amazon yesterday though, and finished one which went for booting, so essentially I am book neutral
I've got some more totals to add but I will have to do that when I'm at home.
I sold about 5 items on Friday on ebay, the auctions ended at tea time, and by the time I went on at about 6pm everyone had paid up :j Don'tcha just love good ebayers!
On the other hand, I am still awaiting payment from someone who won an item on 14th. I started NPB on 19th, and they then completed checkout to say they are posting a cheque. Last Wednesday they messaged to ask if the cheque had arrived yet, and if not, they would cancel it and pay by paypal. It hadn't funnily enough, they then asked for my paypal address, which is on the numerous invoices I sent them, (I sent it again) and they still haven't paid. I've given them til tonight to pay and then I shall close the NPB dispute if they haven't done so."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've just quickly updated my totals - added in another £10 amazon voucher redeemed from a survey site over the weekend too :j"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

I made my first payment to my 0% card yesterday, it was very exciting knowing that EVERY PENNY was reducing my debt :j
One of them though won't accept my electron card as a payment method so I've got to transfer the money to another account with a debit card so I can pay them. This is a bit annoying, but it will have to do until I can figure out whether I can pay them by bacs."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". My ebay buyer finally paid up - she had paid on Sunday, but had not paid through ebay so I didn't realise. That's all in the post today, so all is well there!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I had a slow e bay buyer too. How annoying.
:T It's so great about your 0% card :T Woohoo :dance:0 -
You must be thrilled with the 0% card jwil, I should imagine it will make things much easier for you now and less worry !
Good news about the npb too. :T
Your 'barely accessible' rooms remind me of my office at the moment, a tad (under-exaggeration) messy but in all fairness, it's stuff that will be sold at the guides table top sale in a couple of weeks.
Still reading lots here, just finished 'The other Bolyen (sp?) Girl' - I seem to have a bit of an addiction to that genre at the moment. Next on the list is the Queen's Husband. And you're right about the saving money on cleaning products jwil :rotfl:
