We haven't done any boot sales this weekend due to the wet weather yesterday, and it was a dodgy forecast for today. We did go and look though and the weather has been fine

I *ahem* might have bought some books :o. I bought a job lot from someone of 78 books  plus a few more other ones.

The books I am really chuffed with as they are an author I kind of collect. It turns out that 32 were duplicates that I already had, so I have listed those, and the others I will keep.

Next time I am on here whingeing about the amount of clutter in the house, someone give me a quick boot up the rear and remind me of this :p :rotfl:

((hugs)) to you DDFW. Is there something you can achieve without being too active? What about decluttering a nice book or DVD? :p It all counts you know!

Thanks girls for your kind words and the vino is def being opened tonight :)

Jwil that is bad luck to have someone buy multiple items and start messing. Keep in contact with Paypal and let them know what is being said. They can spot !!!!!! too.

Just take the hit and make sure you respond below the left feedback. Most people really do sus out trouble makers when looking at a sellers feedback. Block him and try and forget about it. Do you have other ebay accounts where you could list some items so you won't have to look at the negative comment for a while. I find this helps me and I eventually get over it and start listing on original name again. Hope that makes sense. I have 3 accounts and use one to buy items like postage bags etc.

I know how you feel about books and anyways you got a bit of a bargain :)

DDFW I am so sorry to hear that you feel so bad. Don't push yourself too much. Is it possible to call in ill to your work? You just might need a few days in bed to sort yourself out. Hang on in there.

Feel tired but going to get shower jammies and glass of red .... hopefully I will feel better tomorrow
    Night and God bless

Thanks ebayqueen - hope you are feeling better today!

The dispute is in Paypal, and I've responded to each of his messages - on each occasion offering a refund on return. So hopefully Paypal will go with me on that one. We'll take the hit if he negs us, and just try and push it off the first page asap. It's on DH's account, so we can use mine if need be, but most people will account for a numpty. He was blocked as soon as he sent the message after we posted it so that's all sorted.

The books are all by a particular author who was rather prolific hence so many. I loved them when I was young, and so there's a bit of nostalgia about them.

We've had a good day today, went off to look at the boot sales this morning, and then sold this afternoon. We've done surprisingly well seeing as we didn't take a huge amount, and got rid of a few bulky items, so that is very pleasing.

Got some ebay packing to do tonight for DH, and will just be chilling I think.

Hope everyone has had a good day!

I'm starting afresh for next month today as I get paid tomorrow and won't be getting any more cash in until then.

So I'm going to try and raise an extra £1000 next month again.

To get me started, I've got some cash from ebay sales and 3 books on amazon coming through, and I'm going to count the £20 in my bank account as that won't be used anywhere before tomorrow.

    So £45/£1000 = £955 to go.

Over the weekend I took loads of photos of stuff to go on ebay, but then lost the will to live to start listing. So I have quite a bit prepared now, and so will get some on this week.

One of the books I listed over the weekend is now selling, so very happy with that.

I'm also quite chuffed with my three book sales over the weekend - one in particular was a hefty book, so whilst I may not have made a fortune, it's made a bit of space on the bookshelf :D

Well done on the Car boot. Good to get rid of things you dont use or need. Keep going £45 is a good start, so onwards and upwards.:)
