And another 2 items listed on ebay. That's enough for today now. Have a good evening everyone!

Another book sold on amazon today so another £4.76 to add to the total.

    £106/£1000 = £894 to go.

I don't think I will be padding for the rest of the month - need to build up the bank account a bit!

    Hey everyone :D

Well done on your sales jwil :j:j:j

I'm another one needing to PAD out the bank account rather than padding to debts :(

Just about to check banking and see if anything else is coming or going.

I was pleased with listing so much on e-bay but even if it all sells - which i really hope alot of it does - it'll only be covering the shortfall in MS moneys... really need to think about raising more money

Just about to have tea - not been in from work long - hope you are all well xx

    Hi jwil and peaceandfreedom :D

I'm going to look at the website you posted up this weekend peaceandfreedom - having the extra day just makes me feel like there's loads more time :) Plus OH is going out so i can potter away through things ;) - i'm also hoping to have some time to focus on my writing - one of the many reasons i want a bigger house (this one's tiny) is that even if I am doing something and say to OH i'm doing this if i could just have some space / quiet time this roughly translates to OH as - i should go in and out of the room nearest to her as many times as possible - the sound of the door opening and closing should only be interspersed by the sound of me thudding up and down the stairs, singing, or taking a call on my mobile right outside the door she's working behind :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: *Ooh to have a study of my own*

I have been pleased with some of the writing i've done - it is a first draft after all :o and i really want to spend more time doing this :) I must try and remember to plot out what i do with my time this weekend - it will be a bit misrepresentative in that i am usually doing MS's - the subsequent reports, the reading up on it and planning a route beforehand - but it will be good for me to try and use my time more productively - even if its scheduling in some proper relaxing time ;)

I am itching to make a PAD but really need to build up the bank account - plus am a little concerned that the bank holiday is going to delay the MS payments so i may not get that money until September...

Hope everyone has a good day :)

It does always feel like there's loads of extra time on a Bank Holiday weekend - love long weekends :D

I also like it when DH goes out as I get peace and quiet to potter around. He always likes to have a radio or TV on in the background.

Hope you get some writing time DDFW.

I think we are going to be booting this weekend, weather dependent. otherwise I shall be carrying on with the declutter and get some more listing done. I'm hoping to get some done this week anyway so that will make a good start.

I've sold another item on ebay - a whole 99p! I shall try to contain my excitement :D

Oh well, it all counts, is another £1, and was a freebie anyway so it's all good!

We are funny with our noisy OHs aren't we - I too like it when mine is out of the house, it's so much more peaceful. :D

Also thinking strongly of car booting this weekend, so much stuff to get rid of. And Sunday is looking sunny if not especially warm and with it being a bank holiday, the car boot should be very busy. :T
  • Have been doing some balance-transferring on my credit cards. Transferred one CC to a new 0% card. The other CC is about to run out of its 0% but I decided it's not a great idea to apply for another one to transfer it to. I was going to leave it a few months and then apply.

Lo and behold the CC I've just cleared has phoned up to offer me another 12 months at 0% with a vastly increased credit limit. Tee hee. So I can transfer CC2 onto that and no need to apply for another new card. :j

This should bring my credit card DFD forward a couple of months overall (the previous DFD was based on CC2 charging interest all along). Of course there are balance transfer fees but they are much smaller than the interest would have been. I'll update my sig when it's all in place.
