n did you use granulated or caster sugar0

oh and (sorry to be a pain!) did you butter it and stir lots?0

Just curious as to how it turned out. Did it stick? I find that i have to stir mine to stop clumps forming. Hope it was ok.0

Didn't stick at all. I used no butter, granulated sugar as that is what I had in and cooked on medium for about 4 hours, although rice had been soaking in milk and sugar overnight as I was going to cook it overnight but someone said it could burn!
I did stir it every half an hour or so0 -
Try adding evaporated milk. To die for!!!de do-do-do, de dar-dar-dar0

Hi kelly,
There's an earlier thread with lots of tips that should help so I've added your post to it to keep the ideas together.

I have put too much milk in my rice pudding and I thought it would thicken up itself but it`s still a watery consitantcey(?)
Is there anything I can put in to thicken it up?Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -
Hello Hazzie I'm sure someone who knows will be along soon - I'd be tempted to drain off some of the milk?
Read somewhere that rice puds cook better if you add the sugar afterwards so I've always done that.
