there's a fantastic recipe for coconut rice pudding the Slow Cooker recipe index.
I made some last week using Bart's coconut cream ( on BOGOF at tesco) and fruisana instead of sugar - very yummy.
  • I use 2oz rice, up to 2oz sugar, 1pt milk. Stir, put on Low for 4-5 hours. Delicious!

I make mine using f/f milk and Carnation, makes it extra creamy. *slurp*

Would second about the coconut rice pudding. Make mine without the dessicated coconut in though and it's fab and really easy. Don't forget the Coconut milk at 39p a can from Aldi.
    :hello:
  • Do you put it in cold - or get it up to boiling first?

no need to warm milk or otehr ingredient up.
it's lovely with additional desicated coconut, it rises and makes a slightly crumbly crust.
  • IS rice pudding ok to freeze? Has anyone tried it. I love hm rice pudding but find i always make wayyy to much! and end up throwing most of it away :(
