darwins_mum wrote: »Good morning all, just a quick question, I have recently started a DMP with CCCS, making token payments for 6 months due to severe income shock. my main creditors are LloydsTSB, they have accepted the terms for my loan, but have not accepted payment proposal for my 2 overdrafts, as the accounts are currently within their limit. With interest charges, one will go over its limit by the end of the month.
I cannot afford to pay more than I am at the moment, will they just sell the debt to their debt collecting service at some stage, and can both overdrafts then be included in the DMP?
Thanks
Your overdrafts should have been included in the DMP in the first place, as it's classed as a debt. Has this been done?DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -
Well, continue to pay the amount you have worked out to each creditor, each month, and maybe send another letter to the creditor (or the same if you wanted), asking them to acknowledge your situation.
Would they have phoned you already by any chance, and you haven't recognised the number?
I put a stop to them ringing me earlier in the year, they rang incessantly about my loan, I requested that they remove my contact numbers.
I think that I will send them another letter, reminding them of my situation.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task

Overdrafts were originally included in the DMP, but the creditor has rejected on the basis that it is still within the agreed overdraft limit. If that makes sense?Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task

Well if it's been rejected then you just carry on paying the amount you've agreed. Overdrafts always take the longest to accept and stop charges and interest - think it took 6 months with me.DMP mutual support thread No: 2430

Thanks, I guess I am a little jittery as it is going to skeedadle over the limit imminently. Ah well, at least the cant harrass me by phone.

He has doen this and tesco credit card have written back saying they can't offer anything as he didnt sign the letter. They have included a letter asking for his signature.
