Others may disagree but I'd be inclined not to return the form, and not give more information than they requested.
I would either phone/write (see my last post) and say you are undertaking a DMP with Payplan (doing your best to fulfill your obligations etc.) and that they should have received this information from them. I would maybe also ask Payplan to resend to TSB.
See also my previous post re: various creditors departments not communicating with each other........

I would agree with this as some of the I&E forms that some creditors asked me to fill in were definately biased in that they did not include items for example that CCCS include on theirs.
The result being that your 'surplus' looks more than it is, hence they think you should pay them more than you can afford.
Return them the I&E sheet you have done for Payplan and explain that as you are doing your DMP through them your prorata calculations are based on this information.
If they insist that you use theirs then you know its bovine excrement as there is nothing to stop them taking your I&E and using the information on that.

I can't remember if I ever received an I&E from a creditor. If I did I never sent it back. I may have asked PP to resend their copy.DMP mutual support thread No: 2430

They will do as they see fit, when they realise you're not going be paying 'em what they want!
Be prepared for some initial argy-bargy and wrangling. Some creditors will acknowledge your difficulties and accept your reduced payments without a murmur. Some might say they haven't received letters, notification etc. Often this is true as their right hand department won't know what the left hand office is doing! Basically they are trying to ascertain that they really can't wring another penny out of you.
Keep all correspondence, notes of phone calls etc.
If you do get negative responses and you feel you can cope calmly, then speak to them on the phone and explain (this is Ian's favourite ploy.) For myself, I wrote to them setting out my position with favourable results on the whole.
This first 'squaring up' is a pain but it will settle. You've done the right thing - the 1st payments are going out towards your debt free future

It's not just getting the extra money out of you, I think it is to ascertain that you're not another non-paying scum of the earth floozey. As you say Twitty, the left doesn't know what the right is doing, and as far as they know, you haven't paid, for whatever reason. Which is why I'm such a big advocate of answering the phone to creditors, and not 'ignoring' them.DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -
Woohoo!! I've just had my first letter from a creditor following the DMP being set up. MBNA have sent quite a nice letter saying that the offer is not enough to accept me onto a formal repayment programme but they will waive any charges and interest on the account. I will still get a default on this at some point but at least the payments will go towards clearing the debt down now and the £180 interest and £50 charges per month will stop!! I just hope the rest of the creditors are as nice!!0

Hi Everyone
New to this forum , just started on the road of Dmp this week, new bank account sorted, and creditors direct debits cancelled, i suppose this is where the fun begins...
Can't help feeling guilty for not paying..im sure this will pass with time, if me and my other half hadn't done this Christmas would have been hell, in fact all this year has been hell money wise, i only wish we had done this sooner.
The cccs have been great with everything, i can't wait to get properly started . Something tells me my answerphone is going to go into meltdown!!!:D0 -

'Floozy?' - what sort of mucky talk is that from a good cleaning- living boy like yourself?

I had a few creditors that sent me I&E forms but I didn't complete them. I either got the CCCS to contact them with the appropriate info or would send a copy of the info provided to the CCCS already.Debt Jan 2008: £45,566. *** June 2013: DEBT FREE! ***
Paid back just under £50,000 due to some interest added.
Dealt with my debt through a Step Change (CCCS) DMP.

Welcome to the madhouse!
NO GUILT allowed here. Most of us are not here by wilful mis-spending, but unhappy financial circumstances.
You've taken the first enormous step in recognizing and taking action to alleviate your problems.
Sometimes the DMP can be a rocky road, but always better than the 'robbing Peter to pay Paul' scenario - and then the day comes when you realise there is nothing left to move......:(
Well done for facing up and taking action!
This thread has been an invaluable source of information and comfort to me. Keep reading for lots of info.

Hi
Having rang cccs My DMP was activated on monday although i am waiting for my welcome pack (stupidly filled the direct debit in wrong :mad:and will have to pay my first payment by transcash so waiting for the slip !!) however i have payments due to two creditors in the next week or so should i still send the "token" payments and letters or just leave it to CCCS?
I think I'd be inclined to give CCCS a ring, ask their advice, and see exactly where things are up to. I'm sure they will help you with your best course of action. They will tell you your official 'start' date, and guide you through this intial set-up.
They are the experts. Always found them very helpful and open so maybe ring and check?
Hope all goes well with your set-up.
