I have had no luck in finding the £160 fare. No direct flights at all. I keep getting routings via Atlanta etc. and the cheapest price is £285.
Have tried several dates. Have all the cheapies gone ?

What dates have you tried? I suspect they're either out of the promo date range, or don't include a Saturday night stay.....

I've booked a flight from 15-22 March 2007 with no problems for £160. I don't know if next year flights are low or not!
    Waddle you do eh?

    More SAVING

If you go through QUIDCO and use OPODO and their promotion code SALE.

    You'll get

£10 off per ticket (it's actually £20 but Opodo add £10 booking fee)

    1% cash back (£1.50 :j) per ticket
    For two tickets

Total price before discount: GBP 341.60 E-voucher (SALE) GBP -40.00 Total price of your basket

    GBP 301.60 *

Take off the £3.00 for the cashback and you've paid less than £150 per ticket.

The site is a bit confusing. The first page gives you regular prices I think but try this link. I got my flights this morning so many thanks to the OP

This is the page you should go to as detailed on the FIRST page of this thread and in a few of my posts.(#76)

    Confusing

Don't suppose you went through quidco or Opodo either

Many many thanks for this tip, I tried to get to the US earlier this year to visit my cousin but couldn't afford the flights, so now I'm thinking I may take my daughter for her 18th Birthday. Brilliant!

I was able to find flights on suitable dates for 160GBP but found that only periods starting and ending on Wed or Thu came back at that price. So you do need to be flexible with your dates for this offer.

Now how do I pay for it???

The problem some of you may be having locating the cheap fares is due to the fact that our US cousins also have the same deal so they are all booking to come to the UK. The fare was released on the 25th August, 2 days before MSE got hold of it. http://news.delta.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=10335

The fare's still out there. Anyone interested in going in March can get the fare from 15th to the 19th and enjoy St. Paddy's day at the same time.
