I have just booked two flights for my daughter and friend to New York out 17.11 and back 20.11. £160.20 each! Their planned shopping trip to New York just got a whole lot cheaper and they can visit my son who is working there!
Many thanks.0 -
Thank you so much for this find, I have now successfully booked round trips for my partner and I for £160 each. We're heading out March 2nd, for 5 nights. Absolutely thrilled, have always wanted to do NY but never been able to afford the pricey flights and pricey hotels! Thanks again!0

It's worth checking hotel prices BEFORE you book!!
Fall (Autumn) is very pricey with a 4* normally $400+ per night but Jan/Feb/March are a lot cheaper.0 -
Just booked up on Continental Airways, even got half term dates for feb 2007
7/2/07 for two weeks all six of us cost £ 938 all in, you can't argue with that, can you ?
Continental use new Boeing 777-200 aircraft they are quick and quite, also you can pick where you want to sit when you book, I bagged three window seats.
Were gonna do some site seeing in the big apple then go over to niagra falls, followed by a weeks skiing, doing that last in case somone gets injured on the slopes.
now all I need is to find acommodation deals and a car and I'm set to go
also the dollars lookin good $$$$$$$$$$$
havin it !!!!!
Fantastic site keep up the good work folks
well chuffed:beer: :j :TWe are the change we wish to see.0 -
Hi, I have just booked 2 flights for a surprise birthday present for my girlfriend on January 25-30th for £160.20.........but not with Delta. :j
I went into my local Thomson travel agent to get a price as a wanted to pay by Switch/Maestro as the Delta website only takes Credit Cards.
I was told by the Thomson flight sales manager that the Delta flights are still awaiting approval from the government to take over the new flight route from LGW-JFK.
Does anybody know anymore about this??? BE WARNED!!!
She did say that it was 99% likely to go ahead, but if it did not go ahead then I would have a full refund. She then rang up Skyscanner, who also confirmed this to her, but informed me that CONTINENTAL are price matching DELTA at present. Their aircraft is bigger and they have individual entertainment units in each seat and..........FREE DRINKS!!! WAHEY!!!
The only difference is that it flies to Newark not JFK, but with previous experience of flying to both airports in the last few years, there is very little between the two......In fact from Newark is a quicker cab ride than JFK to Manhattan. It also gave a choice of 2 flights inbund and outbound.
I have booked with CONTNENTAL now and also got to claim double NECTAR POINTS with my transaction of £320.40.
Got to be happy with that!!!:T0 -

Hi
Just interested with regards to the drinks. on continental website it states that you receive free soft drinks in economy. You only receive free alcholic drinks in first/business.
Can you clarify this for me as it seems such a good offer.
