I’m surprised that posters are still asking ‘what’s best to do about this?’ when the answers are all posted here already. If you can’t be bothered to read the earlier pages, it perhaps explains how you got caught in the first place.

Answers on the very first page of this thread (over a month ago now) make it clear that this company operates in an unethical manner, and long-time MSE posters have clearly said ‘don’t get involved’.

Reliable and knowledgeable posters here have contributed and then had to put up with invective from people ‘searching for the truth’, saying things like ‘get lost - only post if you know for sure’.

People shouldn’t ask for advice and opinions on internet forums if they only want to hear a certain type of answer because that’s not how the forum world works. (or the real world)

It’s regrettable that some people take the Mick here, but hey, that’s also part of life.

Learn the lesson that if it looks too good to be true, there’s a reason for it.

Without commenting on your rather strange recent posts, just bear in mind that your posts clearly show you have simply not read all the posts on this thread. Maybe you have now, I don’t know, but lots of useful advice has been dealt out by long-time posters here.

It’s not haranguing, and I’m sorry you felt criticised. It’s just good guidance that the information IS here, on this thread, ready for you to use if you wish.

Bailiff = nonsense. CCJ - mentioned long back and the correct process WILL work unless you (and others) have signed things you shouldn’t have done. I hope this helps.

I'm back and at the risk of being slagged off by you all - an update.

Nothing much is happening, paperwork is flying around the country like I really cant describe, bits go missing but they do in the norm.

I have still not paid any money to the company and will not be till completion (apparantly)

We are/never were really expecting it to go ahead, getting a half decent price for our home in a depressed market is madness, but we are going with the flow to see what happens next.

Are you referring to me/bettybooop etc? Betty hit the nail right on the head, we are pig sick of the crap that is being spouted. We asked for definative info, which some people have thankfully supplied, not crap that appears to be the norm on this site.

I am not/never will be part of IPG, I dont work for them and have no intention of doing so.

Someone, way back in the post, spouted something about protesting too much - you have to protest on here otherwise you are belittled and distrusted.

Are we sure that everyone who claims to be have been scammed talking about the same company? They have been nothing but polite to me, they have not asked for more money to seal the deal (up to now). Granted, they are slow off the mark with paperwork etc but eventually it gets to where it is supposed to.

As for rudeness, it costs nothing to be polite on here and that is sadly lacking!

If you feel that crap is the norm here, then it begs the question: why post? You’re absolutely right that amongst the dross there’s good info, and at least you’ve taken the time to read the posts here. There will always be a modicum of garbage spouted – just ignore it.

I haven’t been rude. I have however been direct. Some people apparently don’t like that.

It seems bizarre that people have come here for help (when, unlike you, they HAVE been scammed) and yet will not go to the effort of reading the thread, and the valuable help posted. I suppose scams work best on people like that.

You say you have paid them no money, and then on two occasions you have said that they have not asked you for MORE money. Something seems a little odd.
