no mess up on my part either, your the poster, I quoted you and warned of possible implications - again read forum rules.
Look at all the posts you've just made - you've messed up the quoting. That is what I was referring to.
So what possible implications are you warning me of? Are you going to report me to MSE and sue me for libel like JMFoster was going to do? Be my guest :beer:0 -
No threats from me here ...
if you think thats a threat then your stranger than I thought luv:money:0 -

Dont know! Our latest is that a letter was generated on Thursday asking for us to supply our Solicitors details - should be with us by tomorrow at the lastest (we will see, but all other documents have arrived when they said they would).
Would like to add here (as an edit), Carole has gone silent on here - has she gotten her money back????0 -
So Investment Property Group have no history, no satisfied customers, no address, an illiterate website anyone can buy, and use unusual business methods demanding money upfront from desperate people. Wonder why people think they might be a scam.Been away for a while.0

If they have bought the web-site which is looks likely, then all the other companies will have the same annomilies in the spelling etc. I will agree that looks bad from the getgo.
As for the address, I have said previously, all of our paperwork has their address on it.
They actually dont demand money up front, it appears that when people tell them no deal over the cash up front, they come back and say that it can be paid upon completion (which is 180 days max).
No satisfied customers. A couple of people have gotten cold feet and as for Carole, well we dont know what the current score is with her. Not defending them again here, but if they are a new company then any deals will be coming to a close soon (at a guess).
It could be a scam, but we are not totally desparate/destitute and we can afford to wait 180 days to see what happens, if they dont complete in that time scale then the deal will be cancelled - we wont have to pay anything.0 -
It does sound like you may have entered into an agreement whereby if you sell your house by whatever means in the next six months you will have to pay them £1200.00, with no actual commitment from them. If that is the case it is quite a neat little deal for them. They cannot lose only win.0
