I have a feeling though that the vendors looking at this don’t realise that when they sign up with IPG they then have a contract with IPG.

The purchase contract (the contract to be exchanged) is of course NOT actually a contract until exchange. At the pre-exchange stage it’s only a DRAFT contract, and as such the terms within, including the ‘agreed’ price are meaningless and can be changed up to the last minute.

The truth of the matter is that posters have noted several inconsistencies in your story and have asked perfectly reasonable questions which you have refused to answer.

I couldn't agree more. I live my life by this motto which is why for example I am happy to spend some of my time and effort ensuring scammers get what they deserve.

    Hi all,

Not sure if this has already been posted, but.........

    IPG website - http://investpg.co.uk/let-sell/

    Other (presumably legitimate) company's website - http://mdpropertyltd.co.uk/selling/

I'm sure there are other similarities if you look hard enough.

Plagiarism is hardly the hallmark of a reputable company!

    The Unready

    The plot thickens:

Isn't it interesting that the following websites all have the same template:

    http://investpg.co.uk/let-sell/

    http://happydwell.com/landlord-info/
    http://sw-lets.co.uk/let-sell/
    http://athwalproperties.co.uk/let-sell/
    http://qulink.co.uk/let-sell/
    http://abcestates.net/let-sell/
    http://harleahomes.com/let-sell/

Also, all of these sites are registered with the same internet hosting company (1&1 Internet) and most have been registered within the last 2 months.

1&1 offer template websites, with a free 30 day trial. Maybe they offer a template for estate agency companies with some sample text already in and so on? I think that's far more likely than that there's a nationwide conspiracy.

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Yes, this is true. It's entirely possible that someone has setup a template website and made a business selling that template site onto letting/estate agents.

I wanted to list some of the sites here just in case investpg disappears overnight and someone else pops up promoting a different site.

Disclaimer: I'm not suggesting that any of these sites are in cahoots with the invest pg scammers.

You have messed up on that one up, you have claimed now that investpg are scammers - suggest you see the rules of the site (basic rules). I have no connection with the company other than that they are the 3rd party in the deal but you are sailing very close to the wind.

Looks like you messed up your quoting there ;)

I'm happy to call Invest PG scammers. It was deliberate. No messing up on my behalf
