Swiftnet was looking promising but was confused by their registration process - maybe I'm too impatient!
Sorry to read that the process was confusing...Swiftnet's application is so simple that we can do it by phone too.

"Swiftnet's application is so simple that we can do it by phone too."
Have just come off the phone with one of the partners who has signed me up to one of their other services that is cheaper than Swiftnet for Tanzania (27.9 vs 30/33.5), still with a freephone access number.
Other UK Mobile rates 15p Day / 7p Eve / 4p weekends
Very simple! Very helpfull.
Will keep you all posted.
Also have a look at http://www.simply-fone.com/ for BT land line calls. Another of their companies. No set-up, cheap calls.Titch0 -

I see 18866 now has a freephone access number for mobiles. Does this mean it's now a better choice of override than onetel or are there some connection charges I'm missing?0

3.does anyone know for sure the 0800 on the data tariff is a free number.
4.who is the best(cheapest) to use for the overide.
5.thanks in advance...
p.s sorry for all the questions but feeling a little "ffick" today.0 -
I am looking into reducing a friends monthly bill throught the remainder of the contract and have found this on the orange site.
Which types of call are taken out of my inclusive minutes of talk time?
Your inclusive talk time is used up by standard rated calls, which include calls to any of the following
BT national and local numbers
Mercury Communications national and local numbers
Kingston Communications phone numbers
Energis, Scottish Power numbers
AT&T phone numbers
Paging Services charged at standard rates
national call numbers (e.g. 0541, 0990, 0870)
non-geographic local voice and 9.6 Data calls
[glow=red,2,300]Onward Call Connect services accessed via a Freephone number
[/glow]
cable companies and other fixed line telecommunication telephone numbers
If they get a plan with evening minutes aren't orange within their rights to charge 40ppm for any freephone number for used for this purpose.
Do they do this and does a mesage come up if you dial it and they have started charging for it?
Is there any T&C's which cover the use of freephone numbers and if they stop giving free calls to them will people be able to terminate their contract?
Many thanks0 -
If it is a Freephone number you speak of, if there is to be a charge there will be an announcement. No announcement, no charge. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I am on One-tel for my mobile supplier. Am I right in thinking that if I dial telestunt direct from my One-tel mobile (ie telestunt 0871-999-1010 number) I will incur 10 per minute to any mobile? I can't get an answer from anywhere on this one.
Thanks for any help0 -
