Hi, im on orange your plan 200 and have just read the article about international calls.Martin states that you can use your inclusive calls to make free international calls but from reading on its not free ie.onetel is 3p min to USA?? Have I read wrong?

The override number i have is the 02070180001 the other 0800 number i have tried gives the "charged at calling card rate" what are the other numbers for orange??

hi all,
not sure if anyone can help, but i have read the article with interest and wonder if anyone has any tips? i have been with orange for about three years and been out of contract with them for at least 16 months. i am on one of the older plans (400 x-net mins) but i am finding that i use about half of them. i get free 0800 calls on my present plan but other than that, there is no benefit. basically, i spend upwards of £50 every month which just seems too high...does the real benefit of overriding mobile charges demand that you have a plan with orange that allows free 0800 calls? many thanks if anyone knows any answers!!!

Hi there,

I know this is the mobile override discussion but I was wondering if anyone knows of any similar numbers for land lines. I use Telewest for Broadband and TV/Phone package (I know I should change it is expensive!) -I have been unable to call overseas with companies such as Tele2 because people have to have a BT landline.

I would also like to have a Spanish channel but do not know who the provider is.

Does anyone have any info on the above??

Just a quick clarification needed.
As I read it, when using one of the 0800 no's the actual cost to a user on an orange tariff for a landline call is ZERO and the call time is not part of the "inclusive minutes"
A friend has read it another way and says the benefit is less because the call does cost the user a small amount but allows the inclusive minutes to be saved for mobile calls
Which of us ,if any,is right ?

I read it to mean that if you use a 0800 number which orange don't charge for.then , whilst your inclusive minutes aren't affected with calls made through this , you pay the 0800 provider's normal costs for phoning landlines. My understanding of the article is that as these charges are less than orange charge to phone landlines, you can then use your inclusive minutes to phone mobile numbers which are more expensive.

Can someone clarify this?

As such these calls are not free, but are cheaper than via using your mobile to call them.
