Thanks Missy, and you too Fay! :T

PhD bits done - am being inspired to take a bit of a mind maps approach. Overwhelmed with paper here! I often use spider diagrams, but land up with whole sentences on all my little arms and legs things :rotfl: Done a kind of 'things to do to get this chapter finished quickly' mind map, with just one word on each arm, all nicely coloured in with little pictures ,and now the whole thing seems simple! :rotfl: Just a case of doing it now....

Shopping done (spend £9 but we're now topped up with milk (4 pints, wil probably only last a day!), cheese, fruit (including strawberries for 85p!), shampoo, mushrooms etc, enough to last a couple of days at least.

Bit more work now (largely plotting for tomorrow), then tea, then meeting :T

(not bad on the spending front either today! £9 on food - Mr Daffs will give me half of that back :) £2 on a big issue (felt bad that I haven't bought it for ages, and that I refused to give money to a couple of people who asked me for change last week :o), 80p on a flapjack in the middle of all my walking.)

Nice cheap vibes for the MOT tomorrow please! :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thanks folks! :j :j I'm hoping the fact that it doesn't actually *need* an MOT for another month anyway, and that we actually had it serviced a couple of weeks ago, and it's had a new alternator, and and and means that I'm due a bit of good fortune with it :D

Sat last night and made a cheery little To DO mind map on a piece of card to take with me today :rotfl: I've got so many different places to pop into on the way home from garage, that I'd never remember otherwise! 3 different libraries for different sets of books etc etc :rotfl: So - a busy morning! Should be home by lunch time though :j Also - going to try for a NSD today <wibbles> (MOT doesn't count as it's budgeted for -although obviously it's best if it *only* costs the price of the actual test! (and the bit of the f*ckin bodywork that fell off, of course ).

Had a slight revelation this morning and weighed my bowl of cereal :D :rotfl: I'm really trying to eat a little more healthily at the minute - then yeterday bought some cereal - and had 3 bowls (large) in the space of 2 hours :rotfl: So I've weighed what it says on the side of the box for guidance (wasn't too bad actually!) and topped bowl up with strawberries and banana :T My 3-cups-of-tea-a-day thing is going well too - I'm drinking herbal in between, and if I've stuck to it, I get a sneaky small hot chocolate before bed :rotfl:

Right - MOT MOT MOT MOT MOT - back later!

Thanks KC! Eating going well today so far :T Dropped car off and did all the running around, had nice lunch and good chat with mr daffs, and now just got ensconced in my little new studying area in the sunshine to get started. Must go and ring the garage first though, see what's going on <wibble>
  • :) hugs and good mot'y thoughts.........................you've got our sunshine again - its so wet out there we've put some auld doors against the wall in the hen coop and put dry straw in to make a 'dry area' for them - they are drowning out there.
