Well, Ruby said I'd feel better in matching underwear and a red dress, but at the minute I don't have either
So I was looking for some underwear that at least wasn't all saggy and old with lots of rips in
(I wasn't looking for the sort that has *intentional* holes in, if you see what I mean... :rotfl: Other than arm and leg holes, that is!)
Thanks for making me laugh anyway, was just having a mini grump cos Mr Daffs is being stupidly grumpy and I'm tired and everywhere is a mess
Going to have a mini mooch round the forums, then pull myself together and get packing, I'm off to London tomorrow! :T0 -
I know exactly what you mean, even if I've got a scary phonecall to make I dress up and makes me feel better!! - enjoy london
sorry there's a bit of a grump about - more tea................................xxxx
I'll have a cuppa - I think I'm not going to go into work tomorrow, I haven't got the all clear to drive and I cant face them anyway - but I might actually try and have a day writing (with a timer) and see how I get on.
Just heard we've got the polytunnel for free if we move it - yippee -
Hugs and hope that things get chirpier soon. x
ETA I thought that maybe the non-holy pants were something to do with it being sunday..............................:)Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

:rotfl: at having special holey Sunday pants :rotfl:
I am just drinking some tea actually - from my new pink gingham mug which I'm very pleased with! :coffee: Glad you're not going in tomorrow. Timer is good for working! :T I've got a bit to do myself this evening too. Great news on the polytunnel! :T :T
Grump will pass, apparently I came home *after* mr daffs was meant to have gone out (in the same car) and there was a small altercation about it, but since he's still not gone out and I've been in well over half an hour, it can't have been that urgent! <grump grump grump>
temporary house guest and another mate have just arrived back so everyone will no doubt be cheery again soon <yawn>0 -

If you can't manage unholey knickers then try red lipstick and no knickers
I donned full 50's dress today for the craft fayre - boned halterneck dress, flicky eyeliner, red lippie and victory rolls. Ok, so that's more 40's than 50's but it was a fun way to spend the day!Commercial Debt £14587.22 Student Debt £7747.73
Debt to family and friends £270/540 Total Debt £22604.95/22874.95 :embarasse0 -
Oh gosh Ruby, that does sound ever so much fun! I'd love a dress like that
Sounds absolutely fabulous! If you don't mind me asking, what were you doing at the craft fayre? Was it you that was selling cards, or was that someone else?
Sorry, such a lot happened this weekend I've got all in a muddle!

Phew! That was all a bit of a busy day!
HUGE amounts of lopping and chipping (and it doesn't look a whole lot better even now!) Then helped friend lug an ENORMOUS wooden crate from a skip into my new car, and about a mile and a half down a tiny windy footpath and over a stile (??) Then library, home, been packing and messing, and grumping about, and all sorts. <yawn>
Bit strange having someone else living here for a while. Just hanging around takes on a whole new meaning. Ah well, I'm off to sunny London for a couple of days tomorrow, so we;ll see what happens after that!
Havea good night all
