Yes, I might well do just that :rotfl: Another worrying thought - i was planning on doing a bit of batch cooking tonight - how will I do Shred if I use up all my tins of kidney beans???? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Just had THE most productive 45 mins :T Did some PhD for the first half an hour, and actually asked supervisors for help rather than spending the entire weekend wading through stuff I don't understand :o They won't reply til Monday, which gives me opportunity to move on to the next bit of reading :T

Then I set the timer for 15 mins again, and I:

    1. put the washing away off the airer
    2. took the compost outside, emptied it, and washed the tub
    3. put piles and stray paper, glass, plastic etc in the outside recycling bins
    4. emptied main bin, and put outside with hot soapy water, to be topped up as and when the kettle boils :rotfl:
    5. put some bread on in the machine
    6. picked up clothes off the bedroom floor and adding another skirt to my charity shop bag :T

Er, that's it I think, but it FELT very productive! :T

Now sat popping over a few garden fences with tea in my new cheery pink gingham mug, about to set the timer again for a bit more PhD :T :T

sounds very productive! i'm about to peg out for the second time, brought it in not long ago as it was spitting, but now its sunny so it will go outside again.
i've also got the do the compost thing as well.
my bunny gave me a bit of a scare earlier, he was laid in his run on his side with his feet tucked up and not breathing noticibly. Thought it was the worst then just as i got to him he popped his head up as if to say Yes? bloomin thing worrying me like that!

Doesn't sound weird at all! :T In fact, I read something once about some research that said that women who exercise have a much better body image than those who don't - regardless of what they actually *looked* like. Something to do with seeing the body as 'useful' or 'strong' or 'working' rather than just 'something to look at'. So actually you make perfect sense, well done! :T

(you might even persuade me to shred again this afternoon after a week off! :T)

Wow that is very interesting to me as that is how I feel! I've been excercising a lot since January and that totally makes sense to me. Interesting how your view changes sometimes!

Anyway, Cheery you sound really focussed and achieiving lots which is great.

I need to get to the supermarket to get the stuff for dinner and am looking forward to 'taste radaring' the fruit and veg.

Cheery - you asked about cafe's in Holborn. Well right by the station there is a Costa coffee so v. easy to find. However there is a cute looking cafe in Red Lion Square which is very close to Holborn station (less than 5 mins walk) and they have a cafe I've never been there but it does look nice and Red Lion Square is very nice with lots of trees and plenty of statues of humanists and free thinkers!

Must go, my new lodger comes tomorrow, have moved nothing :o but am intending to make chocolate brownies to make up for the higgledy piggledy ness of her first week!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Gosh LT! A scary bunny moment indeed  Hope he's recovered, sounds like he was just lazing around! :rotfl:

Makeup - thanks for that lovely cafe link! :T :T T Very exciting. Will definitely try and pop there! :j :j :j

Well, the afternoon got considerably less productive :rotfl: Went for a little charity shop wander with Mr Daffs :T Bought a cheery new purse for 75p, a little tupperware pot for 20p, and some nuts and seeds for a little baking/cooking extravaganza I have in store for tonight :T

Mr Daffs is off out in an hour, I need to do some more PhD and a variety of other things - just making a pancake or two :T :T Anybody want one? :D
  • Yes please! :D

Water bottles are good, reuse empty ones. Half a litre is half a kilo :)

Also you can refill and use if you're out walking anyway :D

I got completely stuck when it came to finishing my diploma a few years ago. just couldn't find the push I needed to move forward. Paid for some life coaching and the effect was life changing! Finished my diploma, qualifying in the process, became self employed, had some counselling, left my husband, became a single parent, looked amazing overnight and eventually moved house and shed old unhealthy friends in exchange for beautiful, generous, sweet, honest, like minded new friends. Money well spent I reckon! I wish you every luck and positive thought. I'm planning to start studying next year and I've already got the fear!
