Oh, and I'm working next Monday, then on training courses on Thursday and Friday (which means I get to take one of my days off the following week - which altogether saves me 3 days worth of train fares to work - which is around £33! :j)

Cheery, that sounds fantastic! And 5th - 7th October .... okay, I'll need to check my diary over the next few days - I write in my appointments ahead, and I haven't actually done that since moving house, so when I catch up on myself ... coo!

How exciting KC! Don't go making a special trip for me I'll be around some of Monday afternoon, and Monday evening, then Tuesday evening - on a course Tues and Weds day time, so it might all not work out at all! Would be absolutely gorgeous if we could squeeze in a quick coffee though! :j :j

Sounds like your life is just spot on at the moment Cheery, glad you are enjoying yourself. Exciting stuff about the funding. I hope that it works out as it would be a real feather in your cap.

I love London, just back from there and spent a nice few hours in the V&A on Sunday. If I am still working for current employer I am down in Westminster in December so I am hoping to extend the stay and do some nice touristy things as well. I kind of hope I wont be going for work though!. Will know more next week.

[edited all that out cos it was far too grumpy and moany and I don't generally approve of such grumpy moany nonsense and don't want it hanging around and cluttering up my cheery diary! :rotfl: :rotfl:]

And there was me feeling a bit sorry for myself cos I'm a bit hormonal, got girly stomach ache, and haven't done half as much work as I needed to do today Oh well, at least the water's on for a bath, should be hot enough in an hour or so, so I've only got to last til then

Wanted to apologise for being complete grumpy ar*e :rotfl: All cheery again now, bath's run with some nice bubble bath from the charity shop, and I'm all set with my cheery book (about Orkney, Fay! :T) Will be much calmer when I get out! :rotfl:

Me and Mr Daffs both have lots to do tomorrow, so we've made a pact to be up and ready and starting at 7am :eek: We're generally quite good at it when we're both trying to get up, it's when it's only one of us that it all goes to pot!

Right then, cheery long soak in the bath :T

'The giddy limit' do a lovely book - not a reading book but a local cartoon strip - Its awesome.

google giddy limit x might not be what you want but its a giggle and they do a great wall calender - very topical x
